My passport was expirted on 7 June 2004, I came to know that to apply for new passport we have to submit our old passport & address proof details. Unfortunately in my election ID card my surname wrongly printed as 'Shaik' instead of 'Mohammed'. Although can I submit my election ID as address? Or can submit any other proof for address such as driving licence, par card, phone bill etc.

Hello Sir,I have applied for my passport on 02/07/09 in District
passport cell, cuddalore and police enquiry has been done.
However we didn't recieve any updates on this till date.
I am not finding any status in online enquiry site.Its showing that
