[Resolved] Passport — Non-Receipt of Passport | |||
Sir, Myself Shashi Ranjan Kumar, I have applied for the Passport last year in the month of Sept. 2009 through Passport office, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh whereas all the verifications and formalities including police verifications have been done successfully. But I havn't received any information regarding my passport till date. Further, I have contacted to the Passport Office, Itanagar for further details many times but they have suggested me to contact the Regional Passport Office, Guwahati. issue of new passport — reg receipt of passport
I had submitted application for issue of new passport on 14.8.2008 at Bhikaji camaplace, new Delhi office with registration No A032881. The status on net is the same for entire period. The status read as under;Police verification has been waived and appliation is underway.
I would like to know when would i get my passport and whether it will lbe tendered through speed post or it can be received in person. I am planning to proceed on long leave.

I had applied for a new passport on 31/12/2007 at the passport collection centre, Anand, Gujrat.The police enquiry for the same was concluded in the first week of January 2008.Till date I hae not received the passport.When I checked in the status, the reply comes that the file does not exists, either the passport has been sent or the file must be more than one year old.I oersonally visited the passport office on 4/6/2008 and gave a written complaint. But still i didn't receive any reply.Again I had gone to the regional passport on20/11/2008 and met the Public Relations Officer and she said that the passport has been issued on 30/1/2008 and despatched on the same date. Here in Anand, I went to the post office and gave a complaint and they had searched in their computers and said that they havenot received any letter/passport in my name any time. Now I dont know what has happened to the passport and when I will receive it.The time spent in travelling from and Anand to Ahemedabad is very sternous and as i am a working women i can't spend my time in travel again and again for this.
Hence I request you to kindly look in to this matter and send my passport sooner.

Sir, ref my application for renewal of passport was sent vide token no. 36560/2006 dated 26.10.2006 through district passport collection office patiala from file no CHDz 15477906. After police varification Patiala Office forwarding the same vide letter no 333/passport dated 11-1-07 showing at sr. no. 31 for further action at your end but despite repeated requests / even publishing in the Tribune during jan.2009, no action seems to have been taken so far . Please expedite the matter urgently.

When we checked with your office, we were informed that a letter was sent to us on 17th August, 2009.
My son visited the passport office on Wednesday, 26th August, 2009 and he was asked to go to Counter No.9. At the counter, he was asked for the letter, so he told the person at the counter that he had not received any letter from your office. He was told that it was sent and when it is received, to come with the same. But it is very surprising that till date we have not received any letter or intimation from your office stating the reason. I would like to know the details of when and how this letter was sent to us as it is not yet received.
I have been checking the status daily on your website and I get the same status as mentioned above “Your Application is in process”.
I request you to kindly let me know the reason for the delay in issuing the Passport.
I think we should be telephonically informed or the correct status should be shown on your website as it is very misleading.
Today, my son visited your office again and he was not entertained and was told to come back only when he receives the letter. Kindly give me valid answer/justification as it does not take so long for a passport.

I had applied for my passport vide File No: A026472 dated[protected]. I have not received my passport as yet. When I made enquiry on website it said the Police Report had not reached there (Ranchi). However, Police verification from Local PS as well as CID completed. Sir, plz help me so that I could get my passport early.

I Smt Shila Bhattacharya applied for fresh passport-Normal bearing File No.CA[protected] dtd 03.10.2012 with Regional Passport Office, Aakash Tower, Eastern Bye pass Ruby, Kasba781, Anandapur, Kolkata-WestBengal.I was issued Acknowledgement letter on 03.10.2012. Till date no verification has been done nor I have received any information. I require the passport urgrntly. Please intervene and help me get the passport which is being badly delayed for no fault on my part.

The passport office does nothing and we are the sufferers of this. I had applied passport in April 2013 and yet after all the police verification part is over, what I am seeing on screen on passportindia.gov.in is Pending for police verification.
The system sucks like anything.
The whole system is busy in taking bribes at the right time but not doing their work for which they are paid salary for.
I don't have faith anymore in this systme and North East Passport service Sucks right from the verification part to everything else.

I had applied for new Passport. The form was deposited in DC Passport Office, Ambala vide Registration No. Z330402 dated 13th February, 2008. My Police Verification was also conducted and completed in the month of May, 2008. However, I have not received my Passport till date. Rather it is surprising to note when I read the message on checking up 'Passport Status' reading as "FILE REFERENCE NUMBER (Z[protected] OF CHD) IS EITHER WRONG OR iNFORMATION NOT AVAILABLE".
It is surprising that my wife's passport bearing registration No. Z330401 applied on the same day has been received back. It seems that my application file either is missing in the Passport Office or it is not being co-related.
I am worried about the same as I alongwith my wife wish to go abroad to see our Son who is there. Please arrange to let me know the status of my Passport No. under registration No. Z[protected].
