Passport Office Delhi — Passport Pending

I have applied for passport on 16-May-2011 at bhikaji cama place, delhi, after some day a police varification was happened at my residency, and the office was very co-operative and helpful, he submitted his report to the passport office on the very next day, but the same still showing pending for want of police report

I am really worried and don't know wht to do

Becuase i am in hurry & looking a for a job in aborad for which i have to mention my passport number in my resume to apply for any job in abroad
