[Resolved] Passport Office Delhi — Passport not delivered or status updated | |||
I applied for passport on 21st Feb 2011 File ref no. DLH-A012011. During 1st police verification I was out of station but my sister showed enough documentary evidence to the official. Still verification status was set as incomplete. I re-submitted 3 PP form to RPO on 9th Feb 2012. Police verification was completed on 23rd Feb 2012. However, I have neither received the passport yet not the status on passport portal has been updated. I have written complaint to the email address for grievances for passport and followed up on it twice but no action taken yet. Kindly address my concern. To add a note here, I did not bribe the police official who came for verification and all my friends are saying that the reason for my passport not being delivered is that. Had my sister or I paid Rs. 500 to the official, which is the normal charge, I would have received the passport long back. Was this information helpful? | |||

Passport Office, delhi — Passport not being delivered for
I had filed request for new passport for my daughters around 2 months ago, file ref. numbers are DLH- M019535 and DLH- M019536. On recently checking the status of these two applications on internet via passportstatus.nic.in, I found that they have been delayed due to absence of some documents. Please note that the objections made by the passport office are completely incorrect and inaccurate. All the relevant documents have been checked and verified by passport officer at the time of submission of application, and found to be complete and authentic. So why is there a need for these documents? Could you please clarify where the originals have disappeared which were submitted at the time of application. Moreover, before 7th October, everything was fine, yet now this problem has arisen. We need the passport urgently, hence kindly resolve this problem ASAP.
