[Resolved]  Passport Office, Patna — Delay in issuing Passport

Dear Sir,

My sister had applied for her Passport on 04-April-2008 at Passport Office, Patna. Her File Reference Number is : A[protected]. The police verification for the same was done in May-2008. I checked on the site for the current status and it says "Police Report is clear and the passport is expected to be despatched by[protected]. Subject to all documents being in order. "

I am not sure why will it take so much time to issue the passport after Police Verification.
