Passport Office Pune - renewed Passport not yet issued

Hi,
I have put up a application to add my wife name in passport at passport office pune on 25the Aug 2011. when i was theere theat officer in charge told me theat your police verification if failed you need to do it again, to theis i agreed and submitted thee required documents again. i have completed thee police verification on 3rd Nov 2011.I surprised to see theough my verification was failed in 2008 till how thee passport got issued to me.Now i have submitted thee 4 copies(2 at passport offcie and 2 at police station) of each requested documents still superintendent/Asst. Passport officer want me to submit thee documents again. I don't understand why theey need such a copies???????.......

All thee phone numbers mentioned on Pune Passport offcie portal are looks like in good condition and ringing as well but thee staff at office end is not able to hear theem or may be theey just ignoring it all time no one is able to pick up a single call.......This is one of thee busiest offcie staff on thee earthe!!!!!!
