Passport — passport delay even after local police station verification | |||
Sir I had applied for my sons (17years) renewal of Passport in july 2012,File no BO[protected].We bothparents were present for submission of application, me (father) was not available for police verification at police station as left abroad. On my return for holidays I submitted PP form as required for re-verification. We all went to police station on 26th Dec 2012 and signed and submitted all the required documents for police verification. The status of application online indicates file is forwared from mald police sation on 3rd Jan2013 , Till today the status is same. How long this CID of Mumbai will take to veryfy and forward our papers to passport office(TCS) for issue of renewed passport. kindly help out, my son needs very soon to go abroad for higher studies. Though more than 40days passed from the date of police verification for my minor sons renewal of passport, the status is still same. How long it will take to get the passport, kindly assist me, I want to send him abroad for higher studies.
I send emails to ministry of external affaires and till now no response.

passport — delay in reaching at police station for verification
hello siri have applied for a passport 2 months back but till date it has not reached the police station for verification.
i have enquired at my police station recently but according to the officials they have'nt received my application , morever the enquiry status also displays that police verification is yet to receive.
so please advise me the needful in such a situation.
