[Resolved]  Passport Police Verification — PV File not sent

Hi, I have applied for my son's passport on 9th May 2011 and Police verification was initiated on 17th may 2011. I personally went to Mahadevpura police station with my son and completed the verification formalities. But, they haven't moved the file from there till now (more than a month). They said the inspector got transferred! How long do I need to wait for this file to get moved? I am wondering, there is no incharge for the inspector got transfered. As per my understanding there was no police verification required for minors (he is 1.5 years old). It is very urgent as I am in abroad and trying to bring my son here. Please take an action. Thank you.
