My saving acccount no. with P.N.B., New Rohtak Road, New Delhi 110005 is 0619000101230627. On 1st Augst 2009, I went to HDFC ATM, Dev Nagar at about 11.00 am and wanted to withdraw a sum of Rs.8000/-. After completing the the required formalities, the above amount did not come from ATM machine. After some time, on second attempt I again asked the ATM machine to deliver Rs.8000/-. This time that ATM machine gave me Rs.8000/. I also told the ATM machine to issue me the receipt. The ATM machine responded and gave me a receipt. But to my surprise, that ATM machine deducted Rs.160000/- from my account whereas I was only repeat only able to get Rs.8000/-. I immediately rushed to my bankers i.e. PNB, New Rohtak Road. In turn, they asked me to contact Customer Care, Punjab National Bank customer care service at their call centre. One, Mr. Rajiv, representative of Customer care services of PNB talked and after enquiring my name, account no. residential address etc., told me to wait for two days and after two days, I will have to check my balance amount i.e. on Monday the 3rd Aug 2009. But, he never gave me docket no. for my complaint and insisted me that my complaint will be lodged only by Monday the 3rd Aug.09. Kindly look into the matter and arrange to credit my account by Rs.8000/- becauase I have withdrew Rs.8000/- only on1st
August 09 at the earliest under intimation to me. An early action in the matter is requested please.
