[Resolved] Prestige Smart Kitchen - Gt - 03l Stove (Sl No:39686) — M/s Steel House Pollachi ,LG Service Station Pollachi | |||
I purchased a GT-03L Stove (sl no:39686) from M/s Steel House Pollachi on [protected] vide their cash memo no 003410. Right from beginning, there has been gas leakge in the stove with obnoxious smell in the kitchen and wastage of gas. When I contacted Steel House, I was asked to call LG Service Station Pollachi who are the authorised service agency. The service technician visited my place two or three times and applied some grease to the spindle on one of the knobs, assuring thet the leakage would stop. Unfortunately, the problem persisted and it was so serious that the gas used to burn in side the mixing tube even when the knob was turned off. I escalated the issue to the higherups in Steel House and LG Service Agency and the technician took away the stove to his service outlet on 9-8-2012 and returned it sameday ,assuring that he has replaced the spindle of the defective knob and the problem was solved. To my dismay, the gas has started leaking profusely from the same knob with a lot of bad smell and safety hazard in the kichen.Again the stove has been submitted to the service outlet on 4-9-2012 and the efficacy of the service done is yet to be known. The mails sent to [protected]@prestigesmartkitchen.com and [protected]@ttkprestige.com have not evoked any response. We are an elderly working couple and we are put to a lot of unnecessary hardships.
