Hello Sir,

This incident happened to me on 02/12/09 when I went to see off my relatives going to Mumbai from Yesvantpur railway station at 6:30 am. I was caught as I did not have platform ticket with me by RPF Officer Mr. Sukumar posted at station. I was ready to pay fine of Rs. 300 as officer asked me to pay but for some reason he said i will make a fine of Rs. 200 and handed over a receipt to me "caught smoking in platform."

To my surprise I saw everyone standing with me and caught without platform ticket were asked to pay Rs. 200 and they were given receipt for "smoking in platform". When I asked to him and one more official giving the receipt, he said just pay Rs. 200 and leave without much questions and i was handed over the Rs. 200 receipt (I am a non-smoker).

I am not even sure if the receipt given to me (236856) is a genuine one. Would like to file case against corrupt railway official and Mr. Sukumar (RPF official).
