PVR Cinemas, Bangalore — Ticket was not booked but amount was deducted from net banking
Hi,I have used PVR online Cinemas to book movie Endiran on 2nd october for 5:00 PM show throgh
HDFC netbanking however money was deduted but ticket was not booked. Transaction ID :
CCA[protected]Avenues India Ltd [protected]. I have checked with HDFC bank customer care and
they told to contact Avenues customer care or merchantiser to recover the same. Is any one
know how to recover this amount? If you know please contact [protected]@gmail.com
seriously yaar these buggers dont lift the call ...horrible pvr cinemas ...i will screw them up ...they dont even lift the call ...they dont employ anyone for customer care just they have number just to show off

PVR Cinemas — Transaction Failed and money has not been refunded
On 22/11/2010 I have made the payment of INR 1,320.00 to PVR cinemas for advance booking. While making the payment, I have received an error message "Transaction could not be completed, Money deducted shall be refunded." I thought, money will be refunded within 72 hours. However, I still have not received any refund. I cant see any phone number where I can file a complaint about this. I tried booking 2 tickets for The Devil on the 6th of this month through PVR's website using HDFC netbanking but before I could complete the booking the transaction timed out. An amount of 500 has been debited from my bank account and has STILL not been refunded. CCA[protected]Avenues India Ltd, Cheque No. C[protected]. I've mailed them on both [protected]@pvrcinemas.com and [protected]@pvrcinemas.com, to no avail. I see all these complaints here and I wonder what kind of freak show PVR is running? What in the world do I do to get my money back??
PVR Cinemas — Ticket Booking failed
This is regarding the online booking transaction carried out on 2nd December on pvrcinemas.com using SBI net banking. However the transaction failed due to timeout but an amount of Rs.440 has been debited from my accountTransaction Details:((POS PRCH

Even same thing happenedd to me. i tried booking and an amount of Rs. 1000 has been debited from my account but before i could complete the booking the transaction timed out and i did not got any ticket confirmation either to my mobile number or to my email id which i mentioned during booking. And there is no customer care number to check abt this excep the [protected]@pvrcinemas.com id for which nobody even bothered to reply the mail when i sent a mail with this complaint.

PVR Cinemas — Ticket not issued for the paid money
I paid for the ticket online and the ticket was not issued either through mobile or e-mail.there seems to be no response from the company either. first of all they don;t have any proper
modes or operation or intent to solve the issue
i kindly request the concerned authorities to tale immediate action against the company
same thing happened with us, transaction not completed but payment of Rs 180 has been deducted from my debit card...
I tried booking 3 tickets for PVR Priya via net banking. An amount of 720 Rs was deducted from my account and the transaction did not complete. A message - "Transaction could not be completed, Money deducted shall be refunded." - was displayed on the screen. I tried again and got the same message again. A total of Rs 1440 was deducted.

I to tried book tickets on pvr cinemas three times but they regretted it as"If Transaction not complete.Your money will be refunded." How to get my money back its Rs.850.

I also faced the same problem, i did not get the tickets but the system works properly till it transfers the money to their account.
Immediate action should be taken againts the theatre and concerned people should be punished.

Same problem with me as well. PVR Chennai, i have mailed them let's see if there is any response.

ditto here. payment twice deducted and subsequent failure. inspite of all these complaints this thing is still continunig is a shame. consumer court is a lengthy procudeure and i dont have time for that. i am calling up media/papers and informing them about this ongoing fraud

we invested money in oberoifilms in last year august they give us 2 instalmets and later on they promise to give at the end of year.But they not give any money till now.
I agree with you all. I tried to book a movie ticket through their online ticketing mode, but the ticket was not booked, and instead amount was debited from my account.

Ohh my god, I did not know, that PVR SUCKS... NO CUSTOMER CARE, NO REFUNDS NOTHING... serious they need to be dragged to court, for proper compensation, and compel them, to set up proper customer care. OR ELSE WE SHOULD BOYCOTT PVRCINEMAS...

I also booked 2 tickets today and money got decucted but no booking happened.Same issue of session expired. Saw Message - "Transaction could not be completed, Money deducted shall be refunded." I can't find any other number that I can call. Isn't there some organization or something which can punish these for such an irresponsible attitude towards customers. Look to me like a bunch of illiterates not knowing the meaning of customer service at all, otherwise they might have corrected themselves in so much time.

We have booked five movie tickets for PVR – Plaza on 13th Sept’10 at 1555 Hrs and the payment procedure was through net banking. The money has been deducted from my account; however we have not received the tickets or any confirmation number.
I think everyone who has written the complaints here sholud get together and go to there Gurgaon office and set them right.
