Dear sir,


Re: PNR NO.3CJFVW Flight dated 16/05/2009 scheduled from JFK Newyork to Nagpur Cancellation and rescheduling the Journey by you


This approps to teletalk I had with your office today at 4.00 pm.


You are well aware that your Airline cancelled the scheduled flight from Newyork to Nagpur without any preintimation and notice to me.


The intimation of change of flight was received by me in USA through email on 14/05/2009. This has caused more inconvinience to me.


You were paid additional amount of Rs.3000/-in addition of fare alreadily paid on 11/08/2008 (PNR no. ZR7P3T) to you for change of scheduled date of return from Newyork to Nagpur by me while booking the ticket. (PNR NO.3CJFVW).Thus it was agreed by you to arrange journey from Newyork to Nagpur. We also booked ticket with VERY INTENTION to avoid any trouble to us of Handling baggage in between Newyork and Nagpur. It means handing over baggage at Newyork and collecting at Nagpur. While handing over baggage ON 16.05.09 we were also informed at Newyork that we will collect baggabe at Nagpur only and accordingly baggage ticket was issued to me.


However after reaching Mumbai airport, we were informed that we will have to get our baggage cleared at Mumbai customs. For that we will have collect baggage at Mumbai. Get it cleared from customs. And thereafter from International airport carry baggage to Domestic airport and hand over it to Indian airlines at Mumbai for Nagpur.This has also cost me Rs.500/- for potage and Rs.300;- towards taxi charges for movement from International airport at Mumbai to domestic airport at Mumbai.


This arrangement has put the additional trouble and burden upon me and the whole exercise of paying additional amount of Rs.3000/-(two tickets for myself and my wife Mrs. Malti Khutate) at the time of booking for change of schedule did not serve any purpose.


I therefore request you to refund the amount I paid for change of schedule as you did not adhere to the schedule and service for which you collected the amount from me.


I am not asking any compensation for the inconvinience caused to me but asking for the refund of service charge you collected for the service you did not offered to me.
