One of the passenger booked on an E-ticket is required to present any of the five identity cards noted below in original during the train journey and same will be accepted as a proof of identity failing which all the passengers will be treated as travelling without ticket and shall be dealt as per extant Railway Rules. Valid Ids:- Voter Identity Card / Passport / PAN Card / Driving License / Photo ID card issued by Central / State Govt. for their employees.
The accommodation booked is not transferable and is valid only if one of the ID card noted above is presented during the journey. The passenger should carry with him the Electronic Reservation Slip print out. In case the passenger does not carry the electronic reservation slip, a charge of Rs.50/- per ticket shall be recovered by the ticket checking staff and an excess fare ticket will be issued in lieu of that.
E-ticket cancellations are permitted through www.railticketonline.com by the user. In case e-ticket is booked through an agent, please contact respective agent for cancellations.

Railticketonline.com — Screwed Support, Worse that IRCTC Site, NO Refund

This seems like just another SCAM!!! It happened to me twice... They just blame it on IRCTC Server... My questions is, what is the use of booking tickets through railticketonline.com if they are depending on IRCTC Servers, coz IRCTC Servers gets [censored]edup every second...

Booking rail tickets through railticketonline.com is to much worse. From the last 6 months maximum times it's found booking service will remain under maintenance . Inconvenience caused regretted.
It’s really very worse, just try it regular and then you can imagine it.

IRCTC — Refund of amount in lieu of cancellation of e-ticket

Hi,

I had booked an online ticket for journey on 5th Oct 2010.
The train was late at that day by 6 or more hours.
After several reminders I got a refund back from IRCTC on 19 AUG 2011(after almost 11 Months)
But I got only half of the money back.

My compaint/ question to the IRCTC authorities is that, why, firstly I had recived payment after 11 months and that is 1/2 of the ammount I had actuly paid.

Why the half of the ammount was deducted and who will be hold responsible for the pain and suffering I had gone through while travelling on that day to my destination and through out the whole procedure of getting my money back?
