[Resolved]  Railway Department — Regearding the Salem Railway Deparment

This is a complaint regarding a pathetic situation which was happend to me (not for me, to all passengers) yesterday (23.11.2009) i was waiting for the train No.0654, chennai express at SALEM JUNCTION by 10.25 pm. when i was waiting in the railway station from 10 pm, there was no announcement regarding when the train will arrive and which platform it will come. when i was waiting, one train arrived without coach number in all compartments, without train number in all the compartments and reservation chart has not pasted in the compartments..simply mentioned that Quilon to chennai express..Even after the train was in the platform, there was no announcement regarding which train has arrived..Moreover in the coach position display panel, it mentions the train number 6670 and its coach position..but the actual train which was in the platform was 0654..I realized that after the train leaved the platform..As salem as one of the six main divisons in south, these type of things happening is really Pathetic.
I heard on 2005 "For better administrative control and improved development and operational reasons, the Railway Board approved the creation of a new Railway Division with Salem as headquarters in 2005 to improve railway infrastructure, facilities (lacking since several decades) and introduce better train services, thus satisfying the long felt needs of railway passengers".... I am sorry to say this..Really its not happening in salem..this is a concern of a salem citizen..My honest request in dont consider this as a complaint usually register by the passengers. Please take the responsible action which has been facing by the peoples in salem whenever they start to travel from salem to some other places.
