PNR status/waiting list

Hello sir,
I have booked ticket from bangalore to lucknow.Now the problem which i am facing is that Railway has come up with some bloody shit rule that unless a final chart will be prepared you won't be able to know the current status of your waiting ticket.Now bcoz of this rule, I am not in a position to go for tatkal ticket since i m not sure that weather my existing ticket will get confirmed or not.

Also please let me know if railway has targeted a profit of 22000 cr. due to which these rule are being approved by the railway ministry, otherwise i m not seeing any value add to the railway bcoz of this rule.

please consider it as a priority otherwise i m going to send a mail to consumer forum/required ngo's/ media marking a copy to our lady President.

i myself had faced such problem many time while travelling from delhi to lucknow and lost money by
purchasing tatkal tickets under such situation

GENTLE MAN !,
ALREADY YOUR CURRENT TICKET STATUS SHOWING IS WAITING LIST.
you should act accordingly . the railway has been taking chances till the last one hour .to finalise the chart for maximum accommodation for all cases of passenger.
The railway can finalise even 24hrs before but it closes the option for deserving passenger at the last moment. and now since the info is online the last one hour is sufficient to get the list done.so the booking time is max.
if you cannot wait till the last results you are supposed to act as per the current status.you do that even in your life, losses are the cost of your situation.and it cannot be defined as the profit to anybody.
if you are the one percent then 99per cent has got confirmed ticket.
rules cannot be made for exceptional cases.
