Cancellation of Ration Card without any verification/notification

My name is Santhiya. I am writing this mail on behalf of my parents who are residing in Chengalpattu.

My parents have been residents of the area (ward no.29) since April 2009. And they buy provisions from Shop no.9 with ration card no.03/G/0387766 and my father name is R.Mohan S/o.Rajaratnam

Up-to July 2010 they bought provisions and suddenly during August 2010, they were denied any supply of provisions on the count that someone had come for verification and at that time they were not available at home. When they enquired the same with neighbours they were told that no one came for verification in their area.

When they approached the Chengalpattu Taluk office they had taken the card number from my parents giving a receipt with reference number.9782 dated 23.10.2010 and told that they are sending the card to Kanchipuram. Since then they were approaching the Taluk office for feedback and there is no proper response from them.

They being the senior citizens with low income, they cannot go to taluk office spending Rs.100 (for one way) everytime for Auto. If they go also no one is giving proper reply.

I want to know who is this person who came for verfication.

Why wasn't any note left saying he had come for verification?

I would like to bring to your notice that there was always someone present at the premises for questioning. Why weren't the neighbours contacted? What proof is there that someone came for checking? All our neghbours know us and there is no possibility of anyone having said we had shifted to some other place.

To my utter surprise, there were innumerable such genuine cases at Chengalpattu office including one most popular politician with similar woes!

Why should we be penalised and our supplies be denied to us when we have done nothing wrong?

Can any one help my parents to get their ration card back and without that they were refused to get all the benefits issued by Government time to time.

My ration card no. is W/21700263, residing at NTR nagar, LB nagar, our Shop No. is 217, They have given monthly Kerosene, but In Jan Month they told no kerosene because we have gas cylinder I do not have GAS Cylinder. please give kirosene regularly.
Please do the needful

Hello Sir,
I am Anand.P Resident of North Rajupalem Kodavalur MD Nellore DT.For the year 2000 we dont have Ration Card.My father was working in APSEB, Due to his Transfers we unable to take Ration Card.From 2 Years onwards i am applying for the card.I met VAO sir so many times but no use, and i went Mandal Office but no body answering.I am giving my address details.So please Provide Ration card as early as possible.
