Dear Sir,
Reference with to A/C No[protected]A-299). I would like to know about sweepstakes declaration date, time and place. The offers been sending from your side are attractive but not practicaly essential to me as the things ie. books, encyclopedias, house hold goods and daily needs, already having. I and my family enjoy to read Readers Digest and we are satisfy with the articles and valuabe information within.

My name is IFTAQAR AHMED and had subscribed for the Readers Digest by paying the subscription for 3 years through Credit Card. From last 2 months I am getting the magazine in the name of one Mr. ANDREWS PAUL ( a/c 1-OO[protected] please look into it and rectify the mistake immediately. After going through the various comments regarding the SWEEPSTAKES I was shocked and really for some I was blind . The entire management of such " internationally reputed magazine " go in for such cheap method of luring the public . One of the commentator has rightly pointed out that, abnormal rates are being quoted for the items you offer to the reader / buyers . You cant simply take us for a ride this is for sure...

i got a letter .On that letter written that i had been selected on final stage

what does that letter content means...

Me too is ashamed to inform you that I am an unfortunate participant of readers Digest Sweepstakes[protected] I had participated in it for 1 year and every week I received an envelope containing Readers digest Book Advertisements and sweepstakes documents I spent all my time and read it very care fully filled it and returned by courier for reaching it in there with out delay each documents of sweepstakes I send with courier charge of Rs.50 Every documents of sweepstakes ensured me that I am the winner of the Sweepstakes and a Toyota corolla car will reach at my house within next few days they also send us the invitation card and asked us how many o[censored]s were coming For receiving the prize and also send us a route map of the prize distributing gala reception they always informed that I am the only their loyal customer one of their Golden customer.

In addition the RD is sending REMINDERS with nasty languages that there remains unpaid amount towards items and if I don't pay they will take action against me. But so far my knowledge goes that except their lucrative offer envelopes with chances of winning amount & Toyota I have never received any article for which they have been demanding payment.

Govt to take action against such frauds and threatening.

I have paid the subscription of Rs.390 for the Readers digest monthly magazine VPP recieved on 8/5/09.
I have not recieved the magazines for may & june.Kindly arrange for delivery of thr missing magazines.

Thanks guys, i appreciates for those people take the initiative for such anti-fraud marketing of Products...SBI should take action against them for such fool making procedure and fraud marketing of products..I hadn't excepted from SBI, they are making people to dream for such nasty and seezy thing...

If anyone have email ID / contact details to complaint against them in Consumer Govt Office...plz let me Know...

I was very happ when I got VPP of Rs.379 by Readers Digest but when I saw the products(books) inside was of no use and cost almost twice as much as comparable products elsewhere.

I cannot even share this thing with anybody to make myself fooled.

I paid Rs 699 & Rs 1098 through my SBI card in month of jan 2009. till dt. not recd my order.
