Rediff Online Shopping — wrong delivery and improper after sale service
few months back i had ordered for a usb laptop cleaner from rediff.com which had a cd pack along with it which they claimed to be a free gift along with the order- for which they had taken a hidden charge..when i got the courier i found the product in a poorly packed condition and with the promised cd pack along with it missing. when i complained this to rediff.com all i get in return is an automated email saying your complaint has been registered and nothing else. this continued for 4 months and then i got fed up.
before this i had ordered a digital camera.though they had offered a 2 year warranty on the product, all i got along with it was a xerox of the operating manual with no bill or anything which said i bought the product.i really doubt from where these products come from..
the usb cleaner may not have cost me much, but i am someone who believes even a rupee got its value. more importantly, online shopping is the new trend and more and more people are opting for this convenient mode of shopping. thus more and more people are getting cheated. by this complaint i hope some solution for such problems arises and a body sprouts to control such sites and its dealers..
