[Resolved]  Regional Passport Office — Non receipt of passport after seven months

I had applied for my wife's passport on the 28th of August, 2010. Till date the status is being shown as POLICE REPORT NOT RECEIVED. I am in terrible agony as the local apssport office in Chinsurah, Hooghley are not in a position to cite any tangible reasons for the delay.

I had lodged acomplaint in the government portal on19th Feb, but no action was taken. the complaint no was: MEAPD/E/2011/00249

Please help me and get the needful done.
