Sub: Incorrect entries in the Passport received. RPO: KOLKATA, PASSPORT No.: G8055191, File No.: CALF00605808 Dear Sir, I had received my Son's passport on 23rd may 2008. In the said Passport, the entry in Given Names is wrongly entered as DEBNSHU instead of DEBANSHU. Also, the entry in Name of Father/Legal Guardian is wrongly entered as PARTHA NABDU instead of PARTHA NANDI. It has been unfortunate to receive such serious errors despite of providing all the documents up to date. Hence, I had filed an application on 1st week of June 2008 seeking correction of these entries in his Passport, through local Passport Agent Mr. Dilip Mitra under the banner “SEEMA TRAVELS, Durgapur-713212, West Bengal”. His Mobile No. is +91-[protected]. But now almost 2 months gone still I have not yet received his passport. I am constantly follow-up with my agent and Regional Passport Office at KOLKATA. But neither party has given me clue of the status of the Passport. Currently I am sitting in Germany and I want to apply for a visa for my family to bring them her. I am feeling helpless. Who is wrong? Or my agent has cheated me? Sir I would request you to please HELP ME to get the Passport as early as possible. I would appreciate a reply in this matter please. I MR.BISU BISWAS had applied for a passport on 05.02.2008 bearing file no A010539 at the time of acceptance of reciept I found out my name to be wrongly printed as BASU instead of BISU.I reported this correction to the fees collection officer in return he made manual correction in the reciept and gave me a confirmation of getting proper name on passport. I have recieved the passport on 14.09.2008 with the improper name as BASU. Currently I am in Mumbai and I am unable to come to Kolkat.Kindly look into the matter and reply me as early as possible.I am submitting this passport at Kolkata H0326656 Telphone no-[protected]/[protected]

I am working in Canada on an onsite assignmen for last 2 years. We(me & my wife) are planning to apply for Permanent Residentship in Canada.
As per the instructions, we need to submit "Police Clearance Certificate" along with the other documents.
Since I am staying in Canada fopr last 2 years, so I will be applying "Police Clearance Certificate" in Canda itself through Indian Embassy. But, my need need to obtain the same from Regional Passport Office in India, asshe is staying in Kolkata (India).
