[Resolved] Regional Passport Office, Kolkata — PASSPORT NOT BEING ISSUED - File Reference No:CAL-A[protected] of RATNA BANERJEE Date of Application:[protected] | |||
I have applied for my own passport in Kolkata circle on 07.07.2011. It is almost six months since the status of my passport shows "Police Report is incomplete and is being examined" which is regretted. On 10th August'11, verification by local police station Serampore was completed and then also completed by Chinsurah HQ and in both the cases the police reports were OK. I visited both the DIB offices and it is confirmed by both the offices that the Police verification report of mine is complete and OK and finally was sent to Passport office, Kolkata on 16.11.2011. I have also visited RPO, Kolkata and did not get proper reply. I have requested through mail many times but it is really a matter of regret that neither received any response nor my passport. My son stays in US and needs my presence there urgently. I am a housewife and cannot run after door to door for my passport. Dear sir
I have applied for new international passport on 30.05.2011. File ref. no: W521725. My date of birth is 03.06 1990.
My police verification& all other requirements are satisfied. Passport office's own declaration is " it is to regret that dispatch of passport has been delayed due to unavoidable circumstances. now it will be dispatced in a week's time."
But this is showing for long two months in status page of the official site.Today is 27th jan 2012. How long will take to get my passport.let me know please.

File ref. no w523823 in the name of Bidyut Naha D.O.B - 13/01/1966, 2nd my wife Koyel Basu Naha File Ref. no w523818 D.O.B.- 09/10/1979, 3rd in my only son Aditya Naha file ref. no - w523822, D.O.B - 14/03/2004 also. My police verification and all other requirements are satisfied to Barasat D.I.B. All application date are 01/10/2011.
But till today is 16/03/2012. How long will take to get our passport let me know please.

This is to bring to your kind notice that I applied for my passport in Kolkata circle on 07.07.2011 under above reference. It is almost one and half year since the status of my passport shows ”PLEASE SUBMIT P.P. FORMS ALONGWITH PHOTOGRAPHS FOR RE-VERIFICATION”.
On 10th August’11, verification by local police station Serampore was completed and then also completed by Chinsurah District HQ and both the reports were alright and cleared OK. I visited both the DIB offices and got confirmation from the dealing officers. It is further known from Chinsurah office that final clear police verification report was despatched to RPO, Kolkata on 16.11.2011.
Thereafter, I also visited Passport office, Kolkata on 12.01.12 to enquire about the status of my passport. I was asked to re-submit two copies of Personal Particulars Form once again for re-verification. After re-submitting the PP Forms duly filled in all respect second time, I was informed that the passport will be ready in short time.
On the contrary, on 10.03.12, I received a letter from Kolkata Passport Office asking me to ”PLEASE SUBMIT P.P. FORMS ALONGWITH PHOTOGRAPHS FOR RE-VERIFICATION”. Accordingly, again on 16.03.2012, I went to Passport Office and re-submitted the PP Forms third time. It is regretted that till date, I did not receive my passport. I am a housewife and running after door to door for my passport. Standing in long queue at Kolkata Passport Office and then meeting the dealing counter person has been a bitter experience.
In this situation I really feel HELPLESS & FRUSTRATED as I don't know what to do and whom to ask even. Anticipating some positive response and some needful action from higher authority.

Objection Addressed: on 21 May2009 by a Fax made on 23384461 contains copy of PAN & Election I Card showing the father's name correctly. Now one month is over and status remains same.
