[Resolved]  Reliance Big Tv — Bad support after sale

I have purchased Reliance BIG TV before a month.After purchasing I was told that installation would happen in 48 hours.
But it does not happened in that duration.After that I have called their customer support and regiesterd complaint. During complaint registraion I have been told that in next 2 hours their technical support team will conatct me and will do installation.
But technical team contacted me on next day and done installation.
Really a bad support system.No fullfillment of Commitments.

I purchased a reliance big tv and it was deactivated on 02/12/09 night. (Smart card No:[protected] By today 03/12/09 i discussed with the customer care, they told we are given 2 days extra service so in your account Rs. - 18.60, I shouted them who will get concurrance from me or i give any request to provide the service on credit basis? They didin't answer.And also they executive told you must recharge your A/c with Rs.270/- +18.60 RC then only you will select your reginal pack. So, ABOUT MY AND PUBLIC VISION RELIANCE BIG TV IS CHEATING ALL CUSTOMERS. Don't purchase the Reliance Big TV. They are froud & cheating the public money in the indirect way. I plan to discuss with my friends, to file a legal case aganist Reliance Big TV. Haribabu M S, Gudiyatham, Vellore, Tamilnadu.[protected]

Silver Pack — Deactivated before due date

Sir/Madam,

I shri Tapas Ranjan Ray,Bhubaneswar,Orissa. is as Dish TV customer having code No.[protected].

Sir I have activated my Dish TV on 06.10.2009 by paying Rs 500/- (Silver Pack) for Four months. But my connection has been deactivated much before the due date Ie i.e.on 03.12.2009.on application they are not giving me any explanation.kindly help me in this regard.

Reliance-hello — not giving after sale service

Dear Sir/Madam

we are using reliance land line phone for last five years,every three months the equipment getting down due to poor battery back up.Before three months I lodged a complaint regarding the same but there is no response from the company's service centre.I had sent a complaint mail to reliance customercare on oct17 but nothing had happened.so Iam enclosing the mail which I had sent to the company,so kindly accept my complaint and do the needful.

Here Iam very sorry to inform you that my land line is switched off[protected] due to poor battery backup,this is the third time it is happening in this year,so we are lodged the complaint but the responds is very poor,their demanding the customer should pay the amount which incurred for battery replacement,this is very bad service to people like me who are holding the phone since last five or six years.o now Iam sending the complaint to you,but if the service is again the same I wiil be forced to inform the same to your higher authorities (Mumbai-both corporate and personal ids) so kindly rectify the complaint as early as possible.my details are as follows-

Reliance Big TV — BIG tv is not installed in 7 days of registering complaint

I have raised a Service Request ID:[protected] on 23rd december 2009 for installing BIG TV at my home
But inspite of calling almost 50 times to customer care.MY Big TV is not installed till now.

Hi Ravi,

I also faced the same problem. I will not write the same story again but i can say this BIG TV is really very poor in services.I changed the location from Bangalore to Noida in 4th Dec09 but till now(30Dec) i am not able to use BIG TV.

Their enggs are not tech sound.He reinstalled the Big TV setup in Noida but after 3hrs setup box was not working at all.I called up to same person he came and ask me 175/-.i gave him money he changed the setup box, but again after 4 hrs setup box was not responding.I called up the same person but i disappointed he was not responding me till 3 days.He came and told me again setup box is to be changed and i have to pay him 800/-...Ohhhhhhhh!!! ... I reported the same to cust care but i didn't have the solution till now.

I will not suggest anyone this product.Please don't buy this big TV...go for others.

Reliance Big TV — Unsolvable dispute

We have purchased Reliance bigtv connection in Oct.2008. after about an year we came to know that ur connection is registered with wrong name and totally wrong address but with our phone number. Above all the vendor from whom we have purchased the connection has taken it as multiset top box connection.
when i talked on toll free number they say that now nothing can be done and we cant convert it into singel tv connection.
this is really disgusting .a company can't change the consumer's database and we have to cntinue with the same headache.

Reliance Big TV — recharge coupne

no recharge coupne is available in total hooghly district since 15 das. my pin code no is 712234. now what can i do now?
I had purchasedx a big tv connection 18 months back.my coinnection id is[protected]
I got a relocation request for installtion but I had been charged twice for 350 Rs ..

My 700 Rs has been deducted for just intallation.I had called almost 10-15 times but no body is ready to listen...I always talk to people on customer care number and they disconnect.

I want this problem to be rectified immediately..

Reliance Big TV — suspend service without any reason

i have recharge my big tv on 11 march 2010 by rupees 400.my smart card no. is[protected].under sumit jaglan name. and now its being 3 days our services has been deactivated without any reason.what do i do.
It complaint is dealer point. I sale connection of big tv in[protected] samrt card no.[protected] to Mrs. Mamta Palaria Gaujajali Haldwani (Nainital) but distributor's service engineer change the smart card to multi setup box this smart card is present time Rs.-600 please solve the problem and punish the distributor & tell me my No. [protected]

Reliance Big TV — Complaint not closed

My STB was not working(18.2.10) , so I have submit a request to customer care, after five days(24.2.10) he repaired the STB , but it is in gaurantee period so I requested The Big TV please replace the unit because repairing is not safe.
Till date(8.4.10) I have still suffering with same unsafe condition , no action taken from Reliance BG TV side

PLEASE HELP ME.

Reliance Big TV — BIG TV - Wasted money

I bought a connection last year and today (April 21st 2010, 5:37 PM), since it is raining, the service is no longer working. I called up the customer care and reported the problem. They told me that "Sir...when there is rain in your area...service will be interrupted...once rain stops service starts". This rain interruption was not mentioned anywhere in the terms and conditions document that they gave me. When I asked them to connect me to their higher authorities they cut my call. When I called back and screwed them they connected me to some guy called RAM (he claimed that it was his full name and he was the floor supervisor). He spoke nonsense to me and then nothing happened. He told me that if I wished to take this issue up with him then I could go ahead and do it. He even told me that "Please mention my name if you want when you complain to anyone". That was absolutely arrogant. Can anyone please tell me what can be done? Please please help me out.

Reliance Big TV — installation not done even after 5 days

I have a reliance Big TV connection and I have given a re-installation request five days back... There has been no response from the company. Every time I call, they give me false promises that it will be done today. There is no way to escalate the complaint. My smart card num is[protected]

Reliance Big TV — installation is done, but no channels are available

my big tv cutomer numerr is[protected]. Installation is done one month back. for installation also, the person simply pampered us for 1 month telling lies. Still no channels are available.

Really fed up with relience Big TV and I want to start doing a compaign with my friends not to buy reliance big TV at all. Shame......
