[Resolved] Reliance Communications — OMH card not given if you don't buy samsung mobile from reliance web world.

I have purchased a Samsung Corby(CDMA) mobile from chroma store in thane r mall-2. When i went reliance web world in thane noupada to activate internet they told me to get omh card from chroma as they can provide omh card only if you buy handset from them, after that i went to chroma shop and enquired about omh card, there they are saying that it will be provided by service providers and when i called at reliance helpdesk number *222 they said you will get omh card either in chroma or in reliance web world. Then i again went to naupada web world and connected them to *222 number but they refused to give me omh card.

After this i launched a compalin in nodal office and they did confirmed that omh card should be provided by reliance web world but they(Tilak Chatterjee) closed the complain without resolving the issue.

Now i have following options with me.
1. Continue to use mobile without internet.
2. Close reliance connection and take other like tata indicom where they are providing omh card irrespective of from where i purchased it.
3. Buy omh card from other mobile shops in black(200 rs) without bill.

It seems that reliance is trying to force handset buyers to purchace from webworld only.

Reliance CDMA — No SIM delivered .. I don't have a connection BUT I GET BILLS !!

Sir ,
I Booked for a relaince CDMA postapid connection for the number [protected] on 12th Aug'09 ... after booking and paing the cash. I nevr hear from the people again !! I waited for a month and then raised complaints for a refund.

Then to my astonishment I get a Postpaid mobile bill In my Name from relaince the next month !!
I didn't recognise the number on the mobile bill !! I didn't own the connection ... nor did I have the SIM card or what ever !! I call up the people asking about it... they don't ans properly only !!

When I told them that I would do to the consumer court, with out my knowlwdge they terminated the said unkown mobile number and closed it of with out even letting me know !!

Now I havn't used the mobile , or connection .. but when they closed the said connection in my name.. they took the money I paid INITIALLY ( IN Aug '09 ) and adjusted it against the last bill !!

How ridiullous is dat ??
They open a connection in my name .. with out me sigining a paper or giving proofs ... they send me bills for a connection I don't own !!

and finally they eat up all the money i paid them intially for no reason !!
Corporate Frauds .. thats what RELIACE MOBILE should be called as !!

I went to the customer care - Worst Response
Customer care manager : Helpless
Nodal Officer : No response.. never piks the call

Appealat Authority : the gate keeper never lets me talk to him !!
She say " The appealat office is a Busy man n that he doesn't have time for such small issues "

THIS SEEMS to be a small issue for them ... God Help us from these people...
I've all the suppsorting documents and conversations supporting my complaint and claim !!

If Any1 can tell me how I should move legally .. so that I can show tham that we consumers are not fools and can't be taken for granted ...

Reliance CDMA — Getting Bills After Sim Termination

Dear Sir,

My Name is Praful Panchal residing at Gaurav City, Mira Road East, My Mobile No.is 91-[protected].
I have terminate this connection since last six month after discused with your call centre (Ms. Rachna).
Sir my problem is that i am still geting the bills from your company inspite of not using it. and this no. is dead. I don't understand why it is happening with me. And your reliance gallery at mira road is saying that they cannot help me. and this has to be rectify from call center side.

Please help me.

OMH SIM CARD RELIANCE — NOT AVAILABLE

I STAY AT NAVI MUMBAI.I AM RUNNING DOOR TO DOOR TO BUY OMH SIM CARD OF RELIANCE AT NAVI MUMBAI. BUT NOBODY IS HAVING IT.
CAN ANYBODY POST ME THE ADDRESS OF SHOP AT NAVI MUMBAI WHERE IT IS RELIABLY AVAILABLE.
I AM ALREADY FADE UP OF THEIR SERVICES AND THINKING OF BUYING ANOTHER MOBILE

Same thing with me also.I purchased CORBY CDMA from Kings Electronics at Kharghar.Now I m running from door to door at all Reliance webworld right from Kharghar to Vashi.But still I have not got that bloody card.Now it has been almost 15 days since i purchase mobile I could not use it .

Yes, same happened with me and I have switched to Tata connection instead of wasting my time answering location details to Reliance Communications Response Management Team.

I am regretting the fact that i've not read this thread of conversation prior...
its been a week since i have taken the Samsung Galaxy POP... & the shop keep tells me that web world will only be able to provide me the OMH card.. & the web world in lokhandwala tells me its outta stock tilll mid june!!!
I think RELIANCE is gettgin really complacent with itself... & MAYBE it is time to switch service providers.. especially with the facility of retaining your old number... & not having to go through the hassle of changing & updating you number evverywhere.
