Reliance Communications — illegal/ unauthorised deduction using unfair trade practice

Unfortunately, I am a user of a Reliance (CDMA) Prepaid No. [protected] from DELHI. Since the day i purchased the connection, at many times Reliance has activated CRBT service on my Number without my consent and deducted Rs.30 each time, because of which, every time i had to call them back and got the CRBT service de-activated but i was alwayz refused to get back the amount of money deducted. In Dec/2009, I had applied for DO NOT DISTURB (DND) service but even despite that Reliance has still been activating CRBT on my number and deducting money from my account without my consent and when i contact Reliance, i am always denied to get my money back.

Such activation of CRBT also tarnishes and ruins my image among the people who call me as such stuff of keeping stupid caller tunes is considered to be very cheap and downmarket in my society.

This is a clear cut case o[censored]NFAIR TRADE PRACTICE, CHEATING, CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST committed by Reliance upon its own customers who entrust with their money on Reliance .

I need a proper legal action to be taken against Reliance.

Reliance Communications — disturbed by unknown numbers

sir, i am geeting disturbed by [protected] this number . this number is disturbing me at late night from many days i am really geeting very much disturbed so plz block this number so, i shall be very thankfull to you .

plz do not disturb by company phone.

I received a message on 09/01/10 in evening that call a toll free number to listen BHAJANS!!
i called the number and the machine started... for hindi press 3...bla bla...
i Just disconnected the call...
in the night 11.55 pm (look at the time!!!) that my account has been deducted with Rs. 30 for activating BHAJANS...
Very next day in the morning i called customer care regarding such unauthorised Activation...
The first thing that annoyed me was the way the executive was talking...( PRIYANKA) as if she is paying for my Cell...
Then they refused to credit my account saying that their records shows that i have activated... When i asked them what's the proof that i have told them to activate such service they repiled that the call that i had mede them yesterday was an DEEMED ACCEPTANCE...(HELL !!!)

WHAT EXACTLY IS DEEMED ACCEPTANCE???????

When asked for a proper procedure for complaint of such non-sense they told that no procedeure lies for such complaints...

i think reliance is forgetting that they are here because o[censored]s and not that we are here because of them...

Sooner an action should be taken against such NON-SENSE else after some days they will start claiming that who so ever uses reliance the cell phone of that person will become the property of RELIANCE...HOW???? DEEMING CLAUSE OF RELIANCE...!!!

I would like to raise the issue with this forum. Reliance has activated CRBT service without my consent. I recieved a message saying that CRBT has been activated and Rs 30 was deducted my Prepaid Account Balance.

When I tried to send message to Unsuscribe to this CRBT service. I am unable to send the message.

Reliance Communications — Excessive Billing

Sir,

I am a wireline broadband customer of Reliance communications since the last one year. My id is :[protected].

In the last 10 out of 12 month my monthly bill has been around Rs.880.00. My main intermet use is limited to sending emails and browsing news sites.My kids use the connection to refer to educational sites for help in their homework and sometimes visit sports sites.

However in Jan,2010 my bill was Rs. 7957.00 and shocked by the amount , I had asked Reliance communications to provide the data usage details daywise. While the customer care executive assured me that I would get the details along with the bill, I got only the summary one liner for the amount billed and no details.
I paid the bill hoping that I would get the details later. It had not come so far though I had raised a complaint. The complaint has been closed without my approval.

What happened in February,2010 is beyond belief. Reliance communications has allowed some other user to hack into my account and use my account to run up a bill of Rs.14500.00 before suspending my account. I say this because (1) when I tried login sometimes , I found that somebody has logged into my account. I noticed a user id ( user id starting with 3820 ....) other than my user id and (2) on many occasions I was denied log in, the message displayed was that user has already logged in. I had raised a complaint with Reliance communications but there was no reply.When I contacted the customer care executive they insisted that I pay 80% of the amount and wait for waiver subsequently. I had been misled in the case of January Bill and wishing not to be misled by Reliance communications again, I have asked them to terminate my connection.

The customer care executive had earlier told me that I had a credit limit of Rs. 10,000/month- (i.e. Ten Thousand only) and I do not why they did not inform me earlier that my account usage has crossed the limit. Also since I connect to Reliance communications account only using my PC at home, I expect Reliance communications to help me trace the culprit (another reliance user) who had hacked into my account used it illegally since the Network Interface Card (NIC) has a unique Physical address even though the IP addresses are shared. As the ISP , Reliance communications should provide this data and identify the Reliance user who has used my account illegally to run up a bill of Rs7957.00 for January 2010 and Rs. 14500.00 for February 2010. Otherwise all Reliance communications customers privacy is at stake and they end up paying bills for some body else's usage of their accounts.

I request the TRAI to provide guidelines for all ISPs (wireline as well as wireless) to enable users to set threshold limits on thier account usage and to instruct ISPs to share connection (physical address of the Network Interface Card) and day wise internet usage details as done in mobile phone. Also TRAI should validate & certify the mechansim/product used by ISPs to ensure customer account privacy. This would pave way for more transparency in billing for usage and confidence that their accounts are not misused by rogue elements. After all ISP is a rent-seeking industry, Govt through TRAI should enforce rigid guidelines.

Reliance Communications — tower signal problem

Dear Sir,

I am using Reliance GSM Number. My all friends and Relatives also using same but living at Motadhak , Nundpur, Mawakot & Padampur ( Kotdawara, Uttrakhand ). But at this location No Reliance Tower is available or Tower is not working properly. So that our all Reliance Numbers are Useless.we are waiting for good communication.
Kindly solve above problem as soon as possible.
