Reliance Communications — Incorrect Billing for a connection not provided by Reliance Wimax Broadband | |||
Hi, I applied for Wimax connection from Reliance Communication (ADAG) in March 2010 worth Rs 2206 in Pimple Saudagar, Pune. The agent committed 5 days for installation and usage of the connection to begin. However that was not done within 2 weeks. When the reliance communication engineer came for the installation he found that the connection was not feasible as signal strength was very low to provide a decent connection. So the connection was not installed. I had stopped the cheque of Rs 2206 payable at ICICI bank, Pune as they were delaying the installation of connection. However the engineer said that the payment can be done later. To my surprise they sent me a bill asking for a payment of Rs 2206 by May 3, 2010 and they also sent a refund cheque of Rs 2206 payable at HDFC Bank, Pune. I did not use the connection which was never installed and delivered. How can they send me the bill. I spoke to the customer care and they expressed inability to resolve the issue. They asked me to drop a mail to [protected]@relianceada.com, however they did not resolve the issue. I am not sure whom to contact at their end to resolve the billing issue. Please look into the issue.
