[Resolved]  Reliance Data Card — Negative balance in prepaid data card

I have purchased a pre-paid data card from reliance. Very frequently, the server is not connected on the ground that I have some negative balance. When I contacted the Call Center, they simply instruct us to deposit certain amount of money (nobody told me the actual amount, the amount varied from time to time). I am unable to understand how negative balance occur in pre-paid card. If it happens, than what is the difference between pre-paid and post-paid connection. In my opinior the Reliance Company is cheating the public.

Yes dear, I was facing same problem.
& customer care is not supporting and talking rudely.We have to take some action against them.
Reliance view is like "Mere ek hi sapna, Sabka mal apna
I faced major problem when executive come to my place and told me to recharge with 300 Rs.
After that data card started and exe. asking about 200/- Rs. charge and not able to give the receipt.
When i refused to pay he threatened me thet he will be discontinue my data card service.
and thereafter till date my card is not working.
So rubbish nad irritating service.

I recently purchased a prepaid data card.Either the computer is not getting connected or there is negative balance.The expenses are unbearable.There should be some sort of metering as TATA DOCOMO has done in GSM. Otherwise the customers will continue to bleed.

Pre paid Data card — Pre paid Data card with life time validity

I have purchased data card in aug 2008 with life time validity and now it is automatically change into one year validity . I have recharged so many times after purchasing . My Data Card No . [protected]. Kindly reply and change it into life validity
I was using reliance data card 2 yeard back and the service was rubbish as the connection never last folong and disconnections are always there, so i disconnected the service, now as i already have reliance data card i want to use net again, i went to Reliance web world and they gave me certain instruction how to reactivate the service, i told them that i already tried that ane still not able to use the service, i also took my laptop and data card to them but no positive responce, they said that my number have been transferred to prepaid, now the condition is that i cannot get postpaid connection as per web world and they are unable to activate my prepaid, No options left, they just sell things and never concerned after that, pissed off...
the same thing happened with me.on 4th jan 2010 i was unable to connect to the internet on enquiring i was told that i have a negative balance, so i recharged with Rs. 200 easy recharge but i got a balance of Rs. 2.32 only so i recharged again Rs. 200. on calling the customer care i was told that my balance was Rs.105.74. So i lodged a complain and was told that balance would be credited in next 72 hours. today when i called them they say my main balance is Rs 105.74 and netconnect balance is 50 hours which is to be used within 11th jan 2010. i told them how can this be possible since i am having a life time connection so all these last day of validity is irrelevant.When i took the connection i was told that the recharge would be just like a mobile recharge and i will get the balance by whatever recharge value i use.

today i regret my decision o[censored]sing reliance netconnect and this is truly miserable of such big a company.they should have proper transparency in telling the terms of the connections.
