[Resolved]  Reliance Energy — Change Over

This is with regards to Reliance Energy change over connection to tata power.Reliance charges are higher as compared to tata power, hence i opted to change over.Now the process is started from Tata power for change over , but reliance is not approving the same..hence i myself logged an complaint to Reliance that i need to change over but i dint get any reply.Now when i called tata power for the status , they informed me that reliance is not approving the same..hence there is delay..I need to know if consumer here wants to changeover from 1 service to other , what rights do reliance have to stop.They just want to eat money.earlier my appliances were blown when there was cabling issue in the wing..when i had complaint to reliance they said might be because of fluctuations during cabling there was high voltage fluctuation..Reliance has not reimbursed any for all my appliances blown.I suffered a heavy loss..Reliance is not customer oriented, they just want to make money.

this is Capt. Tescelin Almeida from Silver Ark, SantaCruz (W) - this is to inform you that when I applied for changeover Tata Power carried out the Joint Meter Reading (JMR) in the presence of a Notary since Reliance refused to send their engineer for the same. From that day onward Tata claimed me as their customer and Reliance refused to relieve me as their customer and have sent me a letter stating that they will continue to bill me and will cut the power if I do not pay their bill. Therefore I am now supposed to be customer of both Tata and Reliance and am forced to pay both the bills since either one of the two may cut my power. I have approached Tata for guarantee of power if I pay their bills however they are not giving the same in writing and have asked me to approach High Court for interim relief - I fail to understand why I should become an innocent victim of the two companies struggle for customers.
This is really disgusting. Reliance has no rights to stop customer from switching over. I suggest you file a claim for the mental harrasment on you by the company's unethical and illegal actions and demand handsome financial claim.
