[Resolved] Reliance Energy — Wheeling Charges
This is to bring to notice that ever since I have switched from Reliance Infra Power to Tata Power from March - 2012, I am experiencing a hike in my power bill's, after calling Tata Power I was told that the reason for this is because of lot of factor's, the most worrying factor which I never understood was the Wheeling Charges that I was imposed upon, below is an example TOTAL METERED UNITS (kWh) : 251 TOTAL BILLED UNITS (kWh) : 276 (25 Unit's Added Unnecessarily And Billed On Wheeling Charges) Difference between the Total Billed Units and Total Metered Units is due to Wheeling Losses of R-Infra Network (9.0% for LT and 1.5% for HT) paid to R-Infra Wheeling Charges @ Rs.0.8800 R-Infra* Rs - 242.88 This is an outrage at one point in time my Power Bill used to be the amount that I am paying towards the wheeling charges to Reliance, with sooooooooooo many Taxes and Charges how can a common man afford such an outright assault being imposed. Examples Of Power Taxes Fuel Adjustment Charges Cross Subsidy [protected]@Rs.0.00 R-Infra# Wheeling Charges @ Rs.0.8800 R-Infra* Wheeling Charges @ Rs.0.38000- TPC-D** Electricity Duty @15.00 % Tax on Sale of Electricity @ Rs.0.1500 MY QUESTION IS HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO FACE THIS BRUNT AND WHEN WILL THIS WHEELING CHARGE COST STOP GETTING BILLED IN OUR POWER BILLS, IS THERE EVER GOING TO BE AN END TO THIS, I HOPE ITS NOT FOR LIFE AS THIS SWITCH OVER THING IS ONGOING SINCE THE YEAR 2010. THE WHEELING CHARGES HAVE TO BE STOPPED AS IT IS MAKING A BIG HOLE IN THE POCKETS OF THE COMMON MAN. TATA POWER Consumer No.: 2250412 MUMBAI - MAHARASHTRA Was this information helpful?
