my name is JIVABHAI VARCHAND VAGHA my car no is GJ12 AE 3438 MARUTI ALTO, was accident by community [hindu muslim fasad], so we was lanched F.I.R. , but we got FIR after one month from the local police station , and then we was claim our claim to companny , now after coplition the repairing work company said your claim is no claim becouse you intimate ur claim after one month , we was also gave the resone for late intimation , and also re opne the claim , but a yet not get any recponce from company , and also they didnt picup the phon Was this information helpful? | |||

Reliance General Insurance Co.Ltd. — Application of wrong rate (rate use for insurance of Bus) for insurance of my SUV
Hello Everybody,I had three years back taken vehicle insurance policy from Reliance General Insurance Co. This was the first year I have taken out insurance policy for my SUV. The first years premium paid by me was about Rs.16,000/-. When I approached the Company for renewing my insurance policy for the second year, the Company asked me pay Rs.26,000/- towards premium. Upon my enquiring as to how the Company is asking me to pay more premium for the second year, I was told that they have quoted rate applicable to 'BUS'. Had there been my vehicle met with an accident during the first year, Company would have accepted my claim?
I had lodged the complaint with IRDA and also sent e-mail to the Chairman of the Company Mr. Anil Ambani. I had received a phonecall from one of the officers from their Corporate Office.enquiring in what way I would like to settle the matter amicably? I informed him that the concerned employee/agent be removed from their office and I should be advised in wrilting of having taken action against the concerned person, and then only I will withdraw my complaint.
However, I did not get any response from the Corporate office of the Company. Moreover, IRDA also advised me that my complaint stands closed. I had advised IRDA that my requirement is not fulfilled by Reliance Insurance Co, and till such time my complaint should not be closed. Till date I have not received any reply in the matter from IRDA.
