[Resolved]  Reliance GSM Prepaid Connection — Deduction of money unnecessarily

Hi,

This is regarding an issue that i am facing on my alternate number ([protected]). In the month of March 2011, FM Radio pack was activated automatically, when I did not activate anything of that sort. Because of this Rs.10/- was deducted from my account balance. When called the customer care, they apologized for the same and assured that this will not repeat again. Around the first week of Apr 2011, the same pack was reacivated again when I did not opt for it, charging Rs.10/- again.

This month it seems like a new story. Around 17th Apr 2011, Rs.20/- was deducted for downloading somthing from R World which I am not even aware of. This time the customer care executive, told that the money cannot be refunded.

I am losing out on my valuable time and money using Reliance prepaid. I have been using Reliance for a long time now, but these issues are appearing off late. Please help me get a refund of my money.

Prepaid connection — Automatic Balance deduction

Received SMS from 64611010 &64611020 a lot of time as "You've been renewed for (Subscriptions, Tax Based Services Services) subscription service on Airtell WAP. You've been charged Rs. 20" and deducted more then 300 Rs a day.
I have complaint many times but no use. I don't know for what service Airtell cut mony from balance. I am not using any service except receiving and doing calls.
Can anybody help for regading this issue or Ihave to through this connection in gutter.

Relience Prepaid Connection — Deduction of Money again and again Without calling

I chargerd my mob with Rs. 50 on 7 Dec, 08 at 6:00
at second day I found only Rs. 16 only after 3 of 4 call.
I called to customer care but options 1 to 9 but not for Customer care to talk directly.
Plz Help Me.

sir my reliance number is [protected]. every time i call reliance toll free number money cuts from my balance.if i try to contact them on tollfree number i get answer that our system is down please call after some time.if i call after some time i get the same answer that system is down.now i think reliance people dont want to solve problems of customers.today i called then 4 times and now i am fedup with same answer.how people voted reliance best service provider or they are just making fake advertisements?
i think now that reliance gsm is not at all trustworthy.
i regreat buying reliance gsm phone

Reliance GSM Prepaid Connection — Illegal charging, erred software and unskilled customer care unit amounting to clients harrashment and metal agony

My reliance no is [protected], that i am not using now but you can contact me by my email. The facts that happend with me was as follows

1. On 14-Sept-09, 8.57 pm, have recharged with a 99 rupees offer voucher, to avail unlimited talk time from 10 pm to 8 am along with a topup of Rs 30/- on 14 as well as Rs 30/- on 15 September. But the calls were continued to get charged on 14 and 15 stipulated time in which that ought to have been free.
2. A complain was lodged with customer care([protected]) the Complain no being[protected], to restore the defect, but to the wildest imagination the customer care found that charges were being deducted correctly.
3. Countering the first response, I have logded a second complain with the customer care on 16th morning, upon which the said problem was restored, and the customer executive after looking at the profile of calls have assured that I will get all my illegal deducted money refunded in 24 hours but no refund was made along with restoring of problem to my reliance number.
4. For that reason, and upon the guarantee of return by the customer executive, I have lodged a third complain bearing no[protected] on 17th September 2009, but the response was as usually disheartening.
5. Thereupon on date 19-09-09, complain no[protected], on date 19-09-09 again a complain bearing no[protected], on 21-09-09 a complain bearing no[protected], on the same date 21-09-09 a complain bearing no[protected], on date 22-09-09 complain bearing no[protected] was being lodged to refund the illegally deducted charges by the most self advertised reliable company for the customer.
6. At first the customer care, executives after verify the call records were taking up the complain as they were feeling that to be valid but upon a unsatisfactory feedback, the executives remain silent and use to confess that they can do nothing in this regard if the person sitting in the Mumbai office is not equipped enough to catch the problem. After 19th what ever complain is lodged is taken due to the fact continuous request from the customer side on the basis of corroboration of complain ID lodged and taken by them assuring the refund within 24 hours.

7. I, having the right of a customer, have forwarded my email time and again to justify the calls charged at 14 and 15 night hours, but the same is also being not taken forward nor cared to comply with. And the customer care unit, after these days are intentionally ignoring the calls and inquiry calls from the myself and in case anyone picked it, the calls was being forwarded to the senior executive who is just trying to press on the feedback saying that the calls on 14 and 15 night must have been made somewhere else than reliance Gsm Number.

This is a pure case of client harassment and injustice of first kind, designed by inefficient software function and layman executive to harrash a customer, resulting to lose his business, social connection, mental peace and the confidence upon the network he has trusted to be his friend in the step of growth and prosperity.
Neither the customer unit is placing my complain before a competent authority nor they are giving any concrete assurance of service to this kind of problem. They as per their own statement were there to inform what is already there as a feedback in sms box of your mobile.

MY RELAINCE NO. IS [protected] ,MORE THEN 1 YEAR I AM FACING LOT OF PROBLEMS LIKE VOICE CLEARITY CALL DROP ETC. TO CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE IS VERY VERY TOUGH JOB, IF YOU GET CONNECTED WITH CUSTOMER CARE THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU SATISFACTORY REPLY AND YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR PROBLEM SOLVE IN TIME.

SINCE LAST 3 DAYS I AM UNABLE TO SEND MESSAGES ANY WHERE , EVERY TIME I CONTACT WITH CUSTOMER CARE THEY MAKE ME FOOL CHECK THIS AND CHECK THAT I HAD ALREADY CHECKED THAT FROM MY HANDSET EVERY THING IS ALRIGHT , WHEN WE TALK SOME OTHER RELAINCE GSM PREPAID CUSTOMERS THEY ALSO FACING SAME PROBLEMS , AND THEY ARE ALSO GETTING SAME FEED BACK FROM CUSTOMER CARE
WHEN I ASKED CUSTOMER CARE TO LOG THE COMPLAINT AND GIVE ME COMPLAINT NUMBER THEY REFUSED STRAIGHT FORWORD.

NOW I AM HELP LESS I AM WAITNG FOR THOSE DAYS WHEN WE WILL GET NUMBER PORTABLITY ,AND WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH THIS TYPE OF OPERATORS.

I THINK MR ANIL AMBANI'S MANAGMENT IS NOT UP TO THE MARK.

Reliance GSM Prepaid Connection — Automatic Balance Deduction

Rs 180/- deducted from the Main Balance.
Reason : Call answered in Roaming whereas the calling person has not been charged.
{because no call has actually been answered in roaming}
Disgusting.

I had applied to convert my obile number from prepaid to post paid on 5th of July.Till the end of the month the number was addherant to the rules of prepaid.i was getting messages of my current balance & last call charges and then the amount got ended and it showed balance as zero.The number is not active any more, concern people havent helped & now i have recieved a postpaid bill.

Reliance GSM Prepaid Connection — deduct amount from balance without informing

The service provider (Reliance GSM) activated some value added services without my involvement or consent and cut the amount from my balance amount. When I complaint to customer care, they refused to return my balance saying I might have activated the service accidently and they r not responsible for that.
I checked my account details for my Reliance prepaid connection - [protected] on 7/3/2011 and I found some money deduction. When I checked with the Reliance customer care they said I activated some service and they have deducted Rs. 30 from my balance. When I wanted to register a complaint with the customer care as I had not activated any service they said that the service was activated on 28/02/2011 and they cannot register a complaint as it was more than 3 days of activation. But I never activated any service and I never got any confirmation from Reliance stating that some service is activated and amount is deducted from my balance. I got the service deactivated on 7/3/2011 as soon as I came to know. I want the amount to be refunded as I never activated any service and I was ever confirmed that any of my service has been activated.

Reliance GSM — DEDUCTION OF AMOUNT FROM PREPAID ACCOUNT BALANCE

I, Ajay Kumar using reliance GSM connection with mobile No. : [protected]. The amount of Rs. 35 has been deducted from my account balance without
my permission. When I contact customer care on 198 (toll free) number then I came to know that Rs. 30/- has been duducted for health pack and
Rs. 5/- for cricket pack. These both pack have been activated without my permission and the amount deducted in not in terms of company and customer
policy and it amount of fraud with customers as I never asked for this packs. This cause legal implication. The amount Rs. 35 /- for both packs deducted
from my account is to be credited back to my account to avoid further legal implication.

Dear sir,
i bear a mobile no [protected] of reliance gsm prepaid mobile
there have been number of occasion where hard earning money of mine been deducted by the mobile company which can be found out by there account balance many times all these amount are refunded to me by complaining to the customer care on 198 but is this really on norms of Indian consumer act why a mobile company send some sms while do not disturb is already been activated by me. And then deduct some money if i unable to found out the amount belongs to the company and if i could able to found out the problem then i need to call the customer care for getting my money back and many occasion the rep from co says that there software is not working to solve the problem plz help this has happen many times.

I am also facing the same with Reliance prepaid CDMA connection. One message comes and says, you have been activated with this service and you will be charged with Rs. x. Then we need to call the customer care. Then they will give the assurance that this will not happen from next month. But again next month they will deduct saying your service is renewed. How to stop this ? It is a way of cheating the customers. It is not only happening with Reliance Prepaid customers. It happens witth Airtel also.
