[Resolved] Reliance Landline — Landline connection not setup!!! | |
Sir, I am from Chandigarh Sector 18 panchkula, I had applied for a landline connection with a combo 649 plan.. during the times of product query i was assured by the sales executive namely Raj Ansh that connection would be promptly set up and after 5 constant days of calling me day and night in regards to the connection i finally gave him a sum of Rs 500 for the connection and all my Id proofs dated 5th Sept, 2009 i got my confirmation call on monday 7th Sep, 2009. and it has been that day and today I can seem to find that guy, he won't pick up my calls the office people are not responding to my call. Around 13th sept i had called up the Chandigarh head for reliance he assured me of prompt action. due to his effort finally the installation guy called me up, cited me dates for setting up the connection but its been 27th Sept and all i have got is from him, excuses and technical jargon to cramp. As of today I won't advice anybody to invest into your product and further more i am planning to take my money back and blacklist reliance product in my internal company network so that another consumer can't be held hostage to your 'CUSTOMER CARE'. Dear Sir,WE had applied the landline connection on 13/02/10 vide reciept No.[protected] with the fees of Rs.500/- but sorry to say that till date connection is not provided & there is no response by booking person Mr.Ram mobile No.[protected].Plese do thre needful as earliest as possible.

Reliance Landline Connection — Incorrect Commitments at the time of Sales
Hello,I received a sales call about 1 month back for a Reliance Landline Connection. The sales person made 3 offers that included a free holiday voucher, 1 gents Wallet and 900 free minutes that could be used in the next 6 months. I bought the phone in my name i.e. Nitin Sharma and the number given to me was 32712163.
Almost 20 days after the connection was activated, I received a bill with an outstanding amount of Rs 453.00. When I called the customer service, they bluntly denied any such offers. The Customer service even doesn't have the holiday voucher and the gents wallet offer in their records.
Here are my concerns and the supporting evidence in my favour:
I have the holiday voucher and the gents wallet as an evidence of these offers however Reliance doesn't know about them. Should they take a customer's word on the 3rd offer that was made as well, if evidence of 2 others could be provided?
Fortunately I also received another sales call with the same offer almost a week back and I was smart enough to record the call. The call was made from a company name ITBL based out of Naraina. If needed, I can forward this call if that helps Reliance understand the mess they are creating by making incorrect commitments to its customers.
I register this complaint against Reliance Telecom for making misleading commitments, bad after sales service and harassment due to their Collection calls.
