policy not cancelled on free look-up period.

Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is shyamveer singh.i taken a policy from reliance life insurance from kalyan branch. but some finanicial problem i wanted to cancelled my policy in 15 days free look period. But when i requisted to kalyan branch to cancelled my policy the cencerned person Mr. Dinesh parmar told me that we unable to cancelled your policy. And yet nobody taken any action about the issue.plz help me.
