Conversion from post pay to pre pay
To the Concerned Person,
I have been using Reliance as my telecom service provider from Aug 2011. From then i have been having problem's with the services. Some times it is Internet some times poor network sometimes additional charges. So i decided to move on to some other service provider after converting my number to prepay. 16 52012 i placed a request to convert my number from post to prepay. They asked to pay some additional charges because it will take 5 days to convert my number. I paid Rs 1087.00 to start the process of converting the number from post to prepay the same day in the customer care office. I got a call on the 25 5 that is after 9 days saying that within 24 hours my number will get converted. However it never happened. Then i called their Complaint office 18602002011 on the 30 5 about the issue, I spoke to a Manager called Vanita from that office and she promised that if i don't use the phone for that day my number will get converted. I did not use my phone for that complete day and yet today 31 5 my number is not converted. I called the same number again and now i spoke to Sagar, he has a new story so say. He wants me to pay extra money since they could not transfer the number from post to prepay in the stipulated 5 days, they want me to pay for the phone calls i have made but the matter of fact is my number should have been a Prepaid number by now so since they are so incompetent why should i pay. Hypothetical situation they will not convert my number for another 3 months so they will expect me to pay for that also. I have recorded conversations with both the employees of Reliance Telecom to prove that i am right and they have agreed that it is their mistake, but they are saying that they wont reverse the charges.
