[Resolved]  Relief India Trust — Fraud NGO.

Address:West Delhi, Delhi

this trust is indeed a fraud. I got a call from this trust by a student call Richa and Seior volunteer call Puja Kaur from No. [protected]. This was in the the month of April. As per the call they needed a donation for a 8 yr old Boy Manoj. As per the call they are able to collect most of the month and are short of Rs. 22000. They gave me repeated calls saying with this left over money of Rs. 22000 if collected they can get the surgery fo the boy done by April end. Some how they made me agree to there story and I made the contribution of Rs. 22000 via ICICI Net bacnking into there account. On receiving the money they mailed be a receipt soft copy and said the surgery is due in April end.
Today they again gave me a call asking for more money for some other case. I just happened to browse the net and found this blog. Here I saw they have been asking for money for Manoj from other clients even in May when as per conversation with me the case is closed. This too some extend confirm they are fraud.
I somehow got the number of Manoj father [protected] and called him today 13th June 2012 and till date that poor family as no clue of the money and are still waiting for some help from Govt AIIMS to get this surgery done.
THIS ORGANISATION IS FRAUD AND PLEASE DONOT CONTRIBUTE.

I got a call. I checked their website and then did a Google search.
So how do we:

1. Get this thread to the top in the Google search results? Any people adept at SEO might be able to help with that.
2. Who can we report these guys to? Cyber Crime Cell or some other agency?
I have got a call on the same line for donation and asking for small contribution about 50000/- from volunteer called Priti Chopra
I got a call from +[protected]. Somyou can block this number as well.

I was getting continuous call from this number [protected] and SMS from this number [protected] regarding donation for Honey (3 month old child). They were initially asking for rupees 34, 000 but later they came down to 500. They shared a web URL-www.projectrit.org as well to me so that i can see the child's pic and donate.I decided to read about this organization in net and found these complaints.I was about to donate but now i will not donate to these bunch of crooks. Its my hard earned money not black money out of scams like few of politicians. :[protected]@
I got a call from the following 2 nos [protected]/[protected] today regarding donation for Hani Singh.
I am confused regarding the authenticity of the caller and looking over the comments I dont think I will be making any donations
Also In my case the Child is 2 Months old... not 3 Months as in Tamu_inder's comment
I got a similar call today from a girl called Arushi...and asked for a immediate help for kid called Honey Singh...she started with 20000 and came down to 2238.00. They seems to be a bunch of crooks who are trying to touch your emotional chord and make money...My view is that if someone is from Delhi...a proper police complaint should be lodged.
[protected]: another new number, [protected] - mobile number from which i received call.. Hani singh again.. beware.. and do not login or visit their site

The Person's name from so called Relief India Trust is:

Sameer - [protected] / [protected] / [protected]
Himanshu - [protected] / [protected]

They used to call from all these numbers. They followed up numerous times with all sorts of emotional taglines and SMSes. However we tried to find out about the Patient directly and found a link of AIIMS CN Center number from the link below:

http://www.aiims.edu/aiims/rti/rti.htm

When we inquired in AIIMS CN Center department: from Dr Balram Airan, he confirmed that it's a fake activity and not to donate anything. He asked that if at all we want to donate, donate to AIIMS City Hospital directly.

Relief India Trust is total fake no matter which person calls. Their website too is fake. Not to believe and get emotional and donate anything.
