Respected Sir,
I’m Mrs.V.Chithra, Rtd. Joint Commissioner of Labour, Govt. of Tamil Nadu residing at 15, Kurinji Street, VND Avenue, Madanandapuram, Porur, Chennai – 116. My neighbour Mr.Udaykumar residing in 14, Kurinji Street, VND Avenue, Madanandapuram, Porur, Chennai is constructing first and second floors of his house. I would like to bring to your kind notice that Mr.Udaykumar is illegally constructing his house. As per CMDA rule Section 25 planning parameters Table 1 (ordinary residential building and other small buildings) they should construct at least abutting 1 m from all the sides including front side. But he has extended the building leaving not even 1 foot from the compound wall. In fact the staircase and bedroom are on our compound wall. This has restricted the ventilation and light into our house. Also there is minimal safety as anyone can jump from his building into our premises with ease. When I confronted, he boldly says that he could easily bribe the officials and get it solved. Light and ventilation are the most important factors but we are deprived of it due to someone’s deviation of rules and regulation. My sincere request to the enforcement cell is to visit the location and restrict the construction and demolish the illegal construction and insist them to follow up the rules laid by the CMDA.
Address of the Construction:
14, Kurinji Street,
VND Avenue,
Madanandapuram,
Porur,
Chennai
Regards,
V.Chithra. Was this information helpful? |
