Mediclaim Process issue
On 15-Dec-2011 my wife-Sushmita Singh was admitted to Ridhi Siddhi Hospital, Mira Road for Malaria treatment and released on 19-Dec-2011. During admission, hospital has confirmed that they have mediclaim cashless facilities and they will process it easily and asked me to deposit cash amount of Rs.5000/- and Rs.10000 for purchasing platelates and assured that it will be refunded after my mediclaim disbursed. They got preapproval of Rs.30000 on 17-Dec-2011 from ICICI Lombard as they requested.
On 19-Dec-2011 Hospital kept us on waiting for for about 6 hrs till getting approval of additional Rs.4029/- as per their final bill after discharge which was due to delay in submission to ICICI Lombard by Hospital.
Now after many days, on 5-Jan-2012 I checked the status of my claim with ICICI Lombard and got update that still they have not received any claim documents from Hospital. I called to Hospital on 6-Dec-2012 regarding the same as my Rs.15000/- is to be refunded back to me by Hospital and Hospital replied that they had sent the bill and documents to ICICI lombard.
While asking Hospital that whether have you confirmed about delivery of this documents or status of claim even after 17-18 duas, I got reply that we do it through our agent and agent has confirmed that he has sent it.
I want to complain about Hospital as per my experience that Hospital administrative staffs are not responding to clients in positive and responsible way and not providing a satisfactory service to customers. For each and every work we need to follow up many times but no positive response is there.
