Central TB Division (CTD) announced the revision in the remuneration of RNTCP contractual staff with effect from 1st April 2009 through email from Central TB Division which has been previously approved the revisions in the RNTCP financial guidelines including the remuneration of the contractual staff at the central, state, and district level by Cabinet Committee.

the revision of salaries had been effected in all other states for contractual staffs but except Tamilnadu. There is lag of State Rural Health Mission (SRHM) under implementing RNTCP in Tamilnadu among contractual staffs as the revision of salary is not yet effected perhaps it is implemented in all other states
