Royal Images Chennai - Dont dare order anything from ROYAL IMAGES CHENNAI

HDFC Bank Credit Card holders often receive offers(pamphlets) from vendor companies with which HDFC bank have tie-ups. One of them is Royal Images, Chennai (https://www.royalimages.in/Pages/Home.aspx). They were offering 6 months EMI scheme with 0% interest if I buy Onida 1 Ton Air Conditioner (worth Rs.18480) from them using HDFC Credit Card.

I did the mistake of my life and placed the order via phone on 21st April, 2012. They said my order has been processed and I will receive my air conditioner in 7-10 working days.My card was swiped for 18480 rupees and first EMI of 3080 was already deducted. I called them on 1st May(after 10 days) to ask the status of my order and they said they are trying to get stock from the vendor(Onida). On 2nd May they emailed me promising that my order will be delivered in next 7 days. But Alas! I called them again after 7 days on 9th May and they said they are not able to contact Onida to procure the stock and hence they advised me to cancel the order. I instructed them to proceed with cancellation and they dropped me an email on the same day (9th May )saying the order is now cancelled and amount of 18480 will be credited back my credit card within 7-10 working days. I was already so frustrated with calling & emailing Royal Images. I purchased another air conditioner on May 11th and it was immediately installed.

Then the harrasment from Onida begins.On May 12th, I get a call from Onida saying that they have my air conditioner and would like to deliver it. I told them I have already cancelled my order 3 days back, so they can contact Royal Images if they have any confusion. I received calls from Onida from May 12th to 21st May, EVERYDAY, asking me to take delivery of the Air Conditoner because they are not aware that the order is cancelled. This miscommunication between Onida & Royal Images led to so much trouble and harassment for me. Anyways, I got rid of Onida sales people after shouting at them for 4-5 times.I called Royal Images and HDFC customer care almost everyday from May 9th to June 12th(yes, more than a month)to know the status of my credited amount and they had no information(only said order cancelled & amount recredited).By this time, my second EMI of 3080 was already deducted and billed.

On Jun 12th, a lady from Royal Images called to say that they had some internal problem in accounts department and amount worth 50 lakhs could not be recredited to customer accounts.Mine was one of them. I was so angry and dissapointed to hear this. She agreed to drop a cheque of 18480 rupees in my credit card account and it will reflect within 7 days. I had lost all hope to get this money back but finally it was credited to my account on 18th June.

One mistake of placing an order with them made my life hell for 2 crazy months. I suggest NOT to order anything from Royal Images inspite how good the offer is.
It is not worth so much pain, tension & stress. Worst service ever.

I have Purchased Reebok T Shirt Online In Royal Images Catalogue Company (P) Ltd.But They are wrong T shirt sent me .

And I am contact to Royal image but no response.

Hello friends,
I have purchased a nikon camera through credit card in royal images.While pacing order it showing EMI but it was not converted.I have paid total at a time.And response from supplies is very poor.So don't purchase from royal images
