[Resolved]  RVCE — Casteism in RVCE(architecture), Bangalore

We are students of RVCE architecture department. There is open casticism in RV college of architecture. Its very shameful & disgusting. professors especially lady professors pick up bramhin students & always do partiality. Submission dates are decide & flexible according to favorate students.All favorate students will be always bramhins. Category students are always sidelined evenif they are sharp. Marking system is very worst. One foolish lady choose her favorate bramhin students as a co-ordinator & that co-ordinator will give mark to other classmates & she will mark that student... Category people are choosen & been harrased for small reasons. For them marking will be for always lower side.If Bramhin students don't complete their submission in time, they will have always extension.Whille teaching history stress has been given on hinduism,always tells hierarchy stating bramhins were always upper. I don't know in which world they are. For creative line there should be always freedom. creativity has never bounded by caste, religion, race or any. Such thinking i feel down market thinking & very much backward.

We are feeling we are studying in a backword/undeveloped area not in metro city college. Girls are not allowed slivless. T shirts with writings. Long skirts ,kapri, leggings are not allowed. students are being harrased by such issues by teachers & security guards. Now they are putting CCTv cameras in class rooms. It feel like jail. cell phones in campus, after lectures are not allowed. They deposit it. Most of the time post graduate students come after working. They have policy not to work while studying but at the same time professors are doing PHD while working. They took holidays by telling false reasons.

Somebody should take action against casticism in RV college of architecture such professors should be punished.
