[Resolved] Samsung 26"lcd — Customer Support service | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, I had purchased one 26" Samsung LCD TV series 4,on 17 July,2009. The Price of the TV was 14,900/-.Now in recent times the Television got some problem with the picture, the screen got full black. I had made the service requsition to samsung service customer care (([protected]) with a reference complain no [protected] for the duputation of service engineer. The service enginner visited the site and without opening the TV , he had recommended to change the whole Picture tube assembly which costs 9,500/-. While I myself checked that one IC chip is not having the power. I had talked with the senior service manager of kolkata branch regarding the pricing and he had only conveyed to give 10% discount. Now is it logical to change the spare part with almost the price of one complete television when the single unit can be replaced with good service from the branded company like samsung. Request you to kindly look into the matter to trust the brand name like samsung, as my all the house hold things are of the same brand. Or else my self would be in the threshold to purchase any samsung products in future. Thanks. Was this information helpful? | |||

PROBLEMS I FACED:
After warranty expires we had a problem regarding volume in tv .it increase to max level when put on.
then we complaint service person, he said we need replace sound card and it cost 5000/-, their is no repair for it, complete card should changed .
2.later we had a screen problem, a small straight line appear in middle, when we call him again he said we need to change screen card its more than 10000/-
so, what i want to say is, better ask for EXTENDED WARRANTY, thus we can claim ...
