Samsung — Backing out after promising firmware upgrade while selling mobile phone Omnia 2

I bought a Samsung Omnia 2 around January 2010 hoping to get an upgrade to WM 6.5 as soon as it comes as being promoted by Samsung. Even as late as October 2011 the samsung service center said that there is no upgrade available for the Indians. Not only did i end up being stuck with an outdated firmware when promised otherwise but it has also left a bad taste about samsung products.

I think if samsung really cared they would make an upgrade available to Indian Consumers on their website instead of directing its customers to a local customer care center who just cant help.
