[Resolved] Samsung LED TV — INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY | |||
I have purchased a Samsung LED TV from Indra Sound at Indra Square Market in Bangkok on 2nd Novemeber 2011. Since January2012, it is not working and the service centre is refusing to repair it under international warranty. I have corresponded via email with Samsung, but nothing positive is being done. reading all the comments and complaints above has nearly given me a heart attack. my sister went to bangkok and purchased samsung 40 inch LED for me. I am yet to register it and wanted to know how to do that process. More scary thing which is coming to me is the airport custom authority kept the original bill of the TV with them despite clearing all the duties etc. Anyways, blunder done is done now, , , can anyone plzz help me register the product online dictating the steps from beginning.

when i contacted samsung customer care regarding this..they said the display panel is dead!!..so i have to replace it..which costs about Rs.54, 000/- which is absolutely ridiculous & on top of that they said there is no international warranty for TV's purchased in malaysia...what the hell??... i share the same frustration just as you guys..any help in this regard would be deeply appreciated ( i reside in india)..thank u so much.

We had purchase samsung led tv 40" series (5) 5300 from Sheeba General Trading (L.L.C.) Bur Dubai U.A.E. and it's model no. is UA40EH5300RXZN S/N. ZW0R3NRD300091 .
When we brought it to home and try to switch it on and it was out order. I had registered a complaint on it's customer care ( complaint no. [protected]) then after an engineer visited & said that led panel is defective so tv set is complete dead and we can replace the panel once we get it from company.
But i don't want to get it repair because I haven't use the product till yet it was packed. I want my tv to be replaced with another new one because I got defective product from company it's not my fault.
Can anyone suggest me how can I register my complain in consumer court against Samsung.

Dear sir. I have purchased a samsung led tv. (Ua40e5000), on 17 jan 2013 from indra sound video partnership...from last 5 days the screen is showing some linings, i have cintact ur service centre but they r asking for rs.5000+tax for service charge and asking for international warranty catd to avoid service charges. Sir i have invoice copy but they r refusing. I request kindlt hrlp me on this matter.. eagerly waiting for ur positive response..

I think we should make more people aware about the problems of samsung product and the cheating and non responsive behaviour of SAMSUNG people. I bought LED 32' TV from Indira sound, Bangkok in July'2013 and it was communicated at time of purchase that it's under international warranty. In December'2013 the product has manufacturing defect and SAMSUNG people in india are claiming that the repair will be done on chargeable basis.
I do not understand how such bad practices can be adopted by a such a big company. Make people aware to not buy any samsung product unless they are 100% sure to avail international warranty.
It's dealers, customer care executives and the company itself representing themselves as cheater and harassing people in india and globally.
Please spread your experience as much as possible to your relatives, friends and known ones.

I have made a purchase of a Samsung 3d LED TV from Malaysia in December 2012, I was told by the dealer that the international warranty is applied to this product throughout the globe and there is no clauses attached to this. With this confidence I went ahead and brought this product. I also double confirmed on this, he went to said that as a part of billing there is a exclusive set aside for warranty from which adds to MRP.
However my TV set has stopped working from a past couple of weeks and when I reported this to Samsung I hear that the international warranty does not apply to INDIA region. This is coming as a total surprise to me.
Kindly check and do the needful for this to be sorted. I have already registered the complaint with Samsung helpline. Please trace the complaint ID based on my name and phone number.
Do let me know if you need any other information. I have also attached the copies of my purchase bills for your reference.
