I purchased Samsung Corby Txt in Mar'10. Recently this phone has stopped registering the calls in the call log. This is posing a lot of difficulties as I am not being able to revert to missed calls or retrieve numbers that are not saved in my phone book.
In this context, I wish to know if there is any software issue that can be solved online or I should visit your service centre. It would be easier for me to get it resolved online as difficult to take out time on weekdays.

Samsung — Missed calls sometimes not shown

Dear Sirs,

I need your kind help for my complaint which I can't find any one to listen in my country (Egypt).

I bought the mobile which you call f609 from Egypt on 25th August 2008 under the name of (SGH-E490).

After I started to use I found that the missed calls are not shown on the screen. I went to the shope which is called (Mobile Shop and address is Zamalek-El Mansour Mohamed street), and complained. They replied that there was no problem in the mobile and only problem came from that the battery was not good and would replace it. I asked to give me a report about that result to carry for any more trouble in the future but they are refusing to do.

All what I need now and after they have been keeping my mobile now for more than 10 days is to get my right in having a full report about the case and the complaints which I did but they don't want.

I wonder why they don't want to inform you about the technical problem in my mobile and which I had asked them to do. I know that in case of any technical problem or manufacturing defect I have even the right to replace by a new one.

I bought a mobile and sent to the shop within 2 days with a problem, do I have the right to change it as I can't accept a reparing for a new mobile which I didn't even use for 2 days?

Samsung — missed calls

Sir,
With due respect I have the honour to say that my airtel number when switched off could not get the missed calls. A message from named "Missed You" appears on screen and when I follow instructions to activate my future missed calls i.e. *139*2# then my browsers screen appears with meaasge "UNKNOWN APPLICATION". You are requested to kindly rectify the same. I am ready to pay Rs. 15.00 per month for availing this scheme.

Samsung — faulty handset and bad service centre

my mobile phone's charging plug is not working properly.when i went to the service centre they told it is nt possible to repair at any service centre.i[censored] replace the mother board(pba) it will function properly and wil charge u around 4500 but my phone is in warranty period so why m i suppose to pay the charge.
i also have a written letter by the manager of the service centre as a proof.

Even im facing the same problem. Call logs are not getting registered. Added to this from yesterday battery is dying out within 2hrs even after charging it completely...I need some solution to this. Please suggest/help.

Samsung corby TXT — faulty handset and poor service at help centre

I Snehalkumar Vyas, had purchased samsung B3210 mobile phone, IMEI----[protected] on dt- 25/6/10 from rediphone. the handset stopped working suddenly. according to your service centre- 5, samipya complex, opp. welcome flat, urmi dinesh mill rd, nr bansal super market, vadodara we submitted the mobile to them for repair on dt- 11/8/10 work order no. 0022. we were informed by person named vijay that the handset has software problem and will be repaired within 2 days and we would be informed by the service centre for the collection of handset on my mobile no. till today i haven't been given any response. i suspect that there is some major fault so please give me a new handset or refund me he full amount that i have paid for the handset. i am highly agreived by this as it wasn't expected form a highly reputed company like yours. take actions immediately.

Samsung corby TXT — Cheated by the company with faulty handset

I purchase a samsung corby mobile from your mobile store in Shalimar Bagh Delhi. on 6th

March 2010 vide invoice no. DE 5404, and this mobile went out of order and was given at your Samsung Service centre ADITYA INFOCOM PVT LTD Ashok Vihar Delhi on 18.7.2010 vide work order no 2921.
The mobile has been given to me today i.e 04.09.2010
But this set has been given to me without rectifying the full defect, since key pad of the set is not working.It seem that the company wants to finish the warrenty period just keeping the phone ideal at their service centres

Since I do work in the stock market and i am loosing a huge amount of my earning due to non avilability of my mobile. I want my money back or change of the set immediatly.
My call log is not being saved in my samsung corby txt B3210, if any on knows please replay this post as soon as possible
Hi,

I was also facing same problem i.e. Call log is empty.
But I am able to resolve it.

Steps are
1. Remove your SIM from Mobile.
2. Insert another SIM in mobile.
3. Switch On Mobile
4. Try to call someone, You will found call log is working.
5. Swithc off and Remove that SIm
6. Insert your SIm and Switch On

Log Log will work

    my samsung corby does not connected software. i tried many times. but not conected with samsung software. so i not convert video and adio files and not copy any file with software. so i direct copy in mass storage device. please give me that problems solution.

      I purchased a Samsung D780 mobile phone from M/s Banik Electrovision, Agartala Tripura on 08 April 2010.The handset was working properly till I discovered that the memory card was not been displayed. I went to the shop from where I purchased the item and told them about the problem. They suggested me to lodge a complaint with the authorised service centre of the company. So I went to M/s S.B. Electronics samsung mobile service, Agartala on 24 June 2010 and deposited the handset against work order No SBE 3168 dt 24 June 2010. Initially it was told by the sevice centre personel that they will examine the fault and will call me back within a couple of days.But no response/call came from the them for the next four days. So I rang them up again to know the position of the case. Then they said that they had not opened the set yet but will do the same and would inform me in next two days. Again no response came from their side in next four days and so I called to the centre to know when they will rectify the defect and return me the handset. Then they told me that there was some problem with the memory card circuit. They had informed the company about the problem and company will send a replacement circuit which would be arriving in a week. They would then replace the circuit and inform me. But they did not contacted me for the next fifteen days or so. I therefore went back again to the service centre and enquired about the mobile set. They then, to my surprise, told that liquid logged in the set and so can't be replaced by the company and has to be repaired at my own cost which comes at around Rs 5000.00. When I told them that I was previously told that the memory circuit was defective and replacement is coming from the company, they shocked me saying that their previous comment was based on their experiance and anticipation and they actually did not open the handset.
      I therefore request you to kindly investigate the matter as comments of the service centre personnel are very impractical and unrealistic. It is worth noting that the handset is still lying with the service centre and I am facing difficulty in my day to day life in absence the same.

      The complaint should have been addressed to by the company. I do not know the regulatory authority managing this. They should get involved and get the case of Bikash Ghosh sorted out. Otherwise there is no meaning of lodging on line complaints

        Respected Sir/mam,

        I have purchased a Samsung mobile (GT-E2120) on 15/June/2010 whose IMEI No. is [protected]. While using the mobile I fell some kind of problem within 1week of the purchase. So I have given that mobile in the samsung service center on 22/June/2010 for repairing. The address of the service center is KARUNA SERVICES MANAGEMENT PVT LTD,11 GOVT PLACE EAST CALCUTTA,PH NO.->[protected]. They told me that there is some software problem and they will format the mobile. They told I would get it on 30/6/10. But on 30th June they told that the problem was of the board & it will take 7 to 10 days to replace the board. No stand by phone was provided so as to ease my discomfort as today also my number is not in service due to this.

        After one week when I visited to collect the same they again told us to wait for 1 week as part is not available & the same words & excuses continued for 1month.

        But on 22nd July they told that they claimed the company to replace my mobile & I have to wait till the company give the approval for the replacing. Till now(7th July) I am waiting.

        samsung 309 — problem in the mic of the phone

        I found a problem in my Samsung Mobile handset. i could hear the person in line but the person in line could not hearing me. The problem starts two days back and still persists.is there any solution, if so please let me know.

        i have bought a samsung handset (S5620 monte) 4 months...now the present condition is this, that its mic stopped working 2 month back and now its headphone jack is also not working ...

          with dew regard i want to say that i have purchased samsung corby GT-S3653 on 18th jan. Just ofter 15 days i got dasplay problem and i sent it to the service center (laxmi nagar near v3s mall). The problem was solved but the IMEI no. was changed and this IMEI no. was changed by them only now agian there is problem of screen touch and they are not ready to take the phone as my phone is still in warranty, they are saying that phone's IMEI no([protected]) is not matching with the IMEI no.([protected]) of bill.
          i hope you will solve my problem as soon as possible.

            I have purchase a samsung metro gt s3310 in march 2010, having one year warranty. before one month i have found that it`s battery is start discharging in 4 to 5 hours. when i went to service center they replied me that it`s mother board required to be change and it would not cover in warranty you have to pay for that because this problem occurred due to voltage punctuation as they told. but i have seen that it`s charger`s fuse in not open due to that voltage fluctuation. so this thing happen due to problem in charger so they have to repair my phone as under warranty.

              hi i have purchased Samsung Corby Pro before 6 or 7 month, before 15 days i found that my cell ph is not working & also touch is not working, there is some problem after that i have given my phone to Samsung Service Center, they told me there is some software problem & u can collect your phone 2 or 3 days & but now they told me after 12 days 1 part is corrupt in your mobile & we have not available that part..but still i am waiting for my mobile phone, i have regularly follow up to Samsung service center but they doesn't replied me positively

              Samsung Corby Pro — no proper services done

              my samsung corby pro phone was given for services a week back and is still not done ,its said that the head office has it...and the whole set including touch and all other keys dont work properly.this was not expected of samsung by me. i would like you to please look into this and see that all your samsung service centers function properly ,and do the work as per our satisfaction .this sercice center at poonamalee high road ,cheenai .gungu street.

                We had bought a Samsung LCD TV from Dubai in April, 2010. It was given to us with 1 year International Warranty. When we came to India and installed it, within a month some problem occured in the TV. When we contacted Samsung, they said we have to pay charge to get it repaired. They totally denied to accept the ''INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY'' of Samsung Product. To our surprize, the Technician was very rude in his behaviour and it all left a very bad taste in our mouth for this company. We had to pay an amount of Rs 4000 (approx) to get the TV repaired. The technician clearly stated that it was a Technical fault and in normal scenario, It is covered in Warranty. I want to understand that what benefit do I reap if I trust the Brand and bought the TV from abroad.

                I will request the Company to not only refund my Rs 4000 given as a service charge but also pay me Rs 25,000 for all the hassels & problems.

                Manufacturing defect in samsung laptop

                I had purchased a samsung laptops (Model no.-NP300E5V-A021N) just 2 months back and found a manufacturing defect on the screen support pannel.
                i also had launched a complaint on customer care as well as samsung service station but not getting an appropriate response from service center.
                Instead of accepting it as a manufacturing defect, they are treating it as a case of accidental damage but laptop does''t even has a scratch.

                  I HAVE PURCHASED SAMSUNG GALAXY S FROM MADURAI ON 20/7/2010 FOR RS. 28,200/-, BUT ITS KEPT HANGING CONTINUOSLY, THEN HANDED OVER MY HANDSET TO THE NEAREST SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTRE(MULTI CARE ENGINEERING, MADURAI). EARLIER THEY TOLD, IT HAS SOME SOFTWARE PROBLEM, AND NOW THEY TELLING THAT" IT HAS MOTHER BOARD, AND THE SAME IS ON THE WAY FROM COMPANY". ITS ALMOST 17 DAYS GONE SINCE I USED MY HANDSET.                       I purshed SAMSUNG S5233(Mobile) and I used it for 9 month and its touchpaid(touchscreen) starts trouble me lot. Means it was not working properly. I went to Sahil Techno Services(samsung service centre) and get touchpaid replaced. As I got my phone I came to know that SIM is not working. I again went and got it repaired after many effort. Thats not all, after one week my touchpaid anain start creating porblem and I was not able to operate any function of the phone. I again went to Sahil Techno Service and give it to them for repair. They told that again they need to replace the touch paid and it takes four days. After 4 days I got answer that it takes more 3 days. After that they told it takes more 10 days.Every time I have to go personally as the Ph.no.[protected] that they give me is contuniously engaged.And they are not writing any turn around time to collect your mobile. In short nobody is responsible their. I have tried many time to contact on that number but it always engage.
                      I take my phone back without repaired as I have not that much time to go ask that my phone ger repaired or not. And all SAMSUNG STAR mobile has the same problem as I seen it in service centre.
                      I want my phone working properly or compentation for that because I paid Rs.8974 for that.

                      HI, THIS IS CHANDRA FROM BHUBANESWAR,ORISSA , i have face problem in my samsung s5233 touch screen, i had put it to the samsung authorised service center, but its more than one week they did not provide me the proper service, still now my handset is in the service center.
                      Same here...
                      my mobile was having a compliant of disply.then i gave it samsung authorised service centre in ottapalam.but they have corrupted my IMEI number.now its in my hand. they kept my phone for two weeks.not even repaired

                        I have purchased a mobile hand set make SAMSUNG CDMA Model No. 569 worth Rs. 8,000/- from your reputed showroom at Raipur C.G. Since the handset is not working properly due to some incoming and outgoing speaker problem, for which I approach to Samsung priority center at at M/s. Attar Mobile Services, shop No. 4-C-1+2, Pagariya Complex, Pandri, Raipur (C.G)Ph.No.[protected] on dtd.23/07/2010 & handover the set for repairing vide their Job sheet No.1186. Were please note that since 15 days passes away but the hand set was still under repair and they are not willing to repair the same since the set are under warranty period. Kindly advice me what should I do if such costly handset get defective in such a short period and can not be get repaired at your service center, what else can a customer can expect from company like yours ?

                            I have made a complaint to samsung customer care on 10th july, 2010 regarding my washing machine. The complaint no. is: [protected]. One engg. had visited my place after the complaint & told me that there is problem with the PCB of the machine & it needs to be replaced. I have confirmed for the same but till date the machine is not repaired. I am making a call to the customer care 4~5 times everyday just to get assurance that the problem will be solved soon. But their local service centre has no interest in solving the problem.

                            I am really surprised to see such a insensitive & lukewarm response to a customer’s complain by an MNC of Samsung stature.

                            Hope they will take will pain to rectify the problem at the earliest.

                              I have Purchased one Samsung corby speed phone at 27/05/2010( model F339),
                              The mother board of the mobile was defected,there for i went to The Samsung Service Centre , Motinagar ,New delhi
                              service centre Manager Mr. Manjeet has givenme one by one the following dates -
                              04 june,9th june,15 june,24th june 29th june ,4th july and now he is speaking to give my phone on 15th july
                              it is very disappointing to see the worst service of SAMSUNG service centre, motinagar . i would like to take some action against this.

                                Samsung Refrigerator is a Bad product.In 2 years since purchase 3 times it went outoforder.Each time it is hell of a job to contact Samsung Service centre to request them to repair our brokendown fridge.The Shop from where we bought the Samsung fridge was found closed just in 2 months of purchase.No proper service centre is available in Mangalore.Now our fridge again is outoforder.I am trying to contact Samsung service personnel here in Mangalore, but in vain

I have called customer care several times in last one month and have been assured of the quality service but Alas! I have been disappointed every time.

                                    As I can see that there are so many customers dissatisfied with the service centre services, I am sure one day will come that SAMSUNG will be out of market.

                                    Extremely Poor Service Quality with duping service centre
                                    Sir/Madam,

                                    I have a Samsung refrigerator with Model Code: RT23MAVMS1/XTL. I registered a complaint at your customer care with BP number [protected]. The only complaint I had was of Over Cooling and all food items getting freezed and turning into ice. My complaint was registered on 01 July'10. First Service engineer visited on 02 Jul ‘10 and mentioned that there is gas leakage and due to which there is overcooling. He asked if I wanted to get the gas refill done. I said NO. I paid Rs. 270 for engineer visit. Receipt details are: Book No 208 and receipt no 10351 dated 02/07/2010. He did some setting from one knob at the back of refrigerator. He mentioned that this might resolve the issue. The very next day, I again experienced the same issue and called Samsung customer care. This time the service engineer who came did not found any issue with the refrigerator and mentioned that temperature setting was incorrect. He set temperature for freezer at coolest and for lower bottom at cold. He ! categorically mentioned that there is no gas leakage and unit is working perfectly. Even this did not resolve issue and again I called customer care. This time the service engineer who came was the same who visited First Time on 02 July’10. He said that he could do nothing as he had already told the problem was due to gas leakage. I told him that another Samsung engineer said that there is no gas leakage. He said that if we talk to other also, we will get different words and causes. Since, he was very sure and confident about the problem cause and foremost, he was coming from SAMSUNG AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTRE, I agreed to gas change. Gas change was done on 17 July 2010. Payment of Rs. 730 was made for gas change and receipt details are: Book No 203 and receipt no 10131 Dated 17/07/2010.

                                    I used the refrigerator for 2-3 days and again the problem was seen and food items getting spoilt. I again called service centre and service engineer who came was the one who visited 2nd time and mentioned that there is no gas leakage and overcooling was some setting issue. He even said that we were made fool and service centre duped of Rs. 730. He mentioned that there might be Thermostat issue and need to be changed.

                                    My frustration and concern is that even after getting services from SAMSUNG AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTRE, I am duped and getting extremely poor quality. My refrigerator gas that was perfectly fine ( as mentioned by same service centre engineer) was change by coercing me. I even called the service centre on 27 July’10 and made them aware of my problem. The supervisor Mr. Khanna said that he will discuss the issue with service engineer.
                                    I again called service centre and talked to Mr. Khanna. He did not have any concrete answer as to why Gas Change was done when fridge was overcooling as normally when gas leakage is there, there will not be any cooling and will have low cooling problem. He again mentioned that he will send a senior engineer to resolve my problem.

                                    Brief of Issues with Service Centre and Poor Quality Of Service:

                                    1. My initial problem of overcooling is still persisting even after 27 Days of registering the complaint and 6 service engineer visits.
                                    2. Refrigerator gas change was done even when one of the service engineer insists/maintains and categorically mentioned that there was no gas leakage and overcooling problem could not happen due to gas leakage.
                                    3. I have been duped Rs. 730 for gas refilling when there was no gas leakage and problem of overcooling is due to some thing else.
                                    4. Even after calling service centre supervisor, I am not getting any proper response as to why gas change was done and always says that he will discuss the issue with service engineers. I think some thing is fishy out here and he may come up with some story to cover up the gas change and justify it.

                                    Samsung / Refrigerator — Servicing and low product quality

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I bought a samsung free RT-25 on 13.10.2007 and now after 18 month of warranty it stop working. We called up the company they filled the gas and charge aroung Rs. 1000(July 2009) and give 6 month warranty. Again, on August 2009 it stop working and said you should install stablizer and filled the gas. Again on October4, 2009 it again stop working and engineer visit on 5 the october that senior will come but till 12 october, 2009 we called at least 50 times but nothing has been done from the company side. I request you to take strong action against the compant and compnesation and freeze ha to be fixed. As we have two kid milk, water day to necesarry items difficult to accomodate.
                                    I think as there are so many compaint against the company their advertisement must stop immmediately.

                                    Samsung / Refrigerator — DEFECTIVE DOOR DESIGN

                                    I have bought a refrigerator from local dealer M/S SAMSUNG PLAZA one year ago.There were many frills added at the time of selling the frige.Within few months of its commissioning,it started giving varios type of problems. One of the common problem was poor support of door resulting in dropping down of door causing a gap in the sealing leading to host of problems. The dealer advised not to load door chest at all as the support plate is weak and can not take load.We heeded to his advice removed loads from the door.But again the problem persisted and now the dealer has started charging his fee and service charges etc. This was not the end of our woes. Now the frige stops cooling requiring replacemsnt of sensor frequently.Every time we have to pay to service engineer for his service as well as spares.Besides we undergo lot of suffering due to non functioning of frige and huge loss of eatables etc.kept inside.
                                    I hope SAMSUNG will take note of it and solve our problem to make me proud owner of their product.

                                        I found following problem in using Samsung Corby B5310 handset mobile.

                                        I have tried a lot to install different application,games etc.etc. but not at all sucseeded in installing any of the ".JAR" file and ".JAD" file.pls advise me on installing these files.

                                        Bassically i want to install G-Talk , Caal Recording software which is not available in this model even though it is very common feature.,

                                        pls help me in this regard at the earliest otherwise i will lose faith in samsung phones.

                                        Why should i search for samsung galary and update software in new phone...It is very ennoying...
