[Resolved] Sangita Travels — Very Bad Experience with Sangita Travels Bangalore | |||
Hi All I had a very bad experience with Sangita travels on 13the Jan 2012. I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Pondicherry through Red bus. Bus came at 11.15 pm to Shanthi nagar, Bangalore.To shock of all the passengers thee bus was not a Hi-tech as mentioned in red bus website. The bus not even belongs to Sangita travels and some other travel name was mentioned. AC is freezing inside and no control for AC in some of the seats. However thee bus started from Bangalore and it reached Madiwala in Bangalore. Trouble started there. They overbooked thee ticket and same seat was allotted to 3 people. One of the passengers with thee same seat number really got angry and asking questions. Sangita travel staff told he will refund the money. But thee passenger has to travel due to "Pongal festival" and he was waiting in the bus stop for nearly 1 hour in the chill weather. He told bus will not go unless this problem is resolved. But the driver used abusive/unparliamentary words and both started fighting. Driver and thee passenger both beating each other. Finally police came and the argument and discussion with Sangita travels are going on and on. No solution. In the meanwhile a "Child labour" who is employed in the bus want to restart the bus using some techniques !! wire and clipper and finally thee battery got burst. So now nobody can start the bus. One staff of Sangita travels Madiwala escaped from the scene stating that he will buy the battery and come back. He never came back. Only one poor helper from Sangita travels contacting all these managers to get an alternative bus. He keep on saying a bus will come from "Mysore road" in 15 minutes. But it never came till 4.30 am. The so called managers switched off their mobiles. Police was keeping calling them and nobody responded properly. No refund was given. Finally I catched some local bus and reached my destination around 2.30 pm and completely exhausted. Sangita travels is doing this repeatedly knowing that nobody can do anything on them. Red bus also knows this very well and listing in their website. Ladies, children are left in the middle of the road from 12 midnight to 4.30 am in the chilly weather and they not even bothered to respond or arrange a bus ( I was there till 4.30 am and left. I am not sure what happened already). We need to very careful with this operator. Is it possible to file a case to ban these operators from operating?
