[Resolved]  Unknown — Garbage collection

HI,

There is no garbage collection in my area. I stay at:

#27, 5th Cross, VinayakaNagar,
5th Phase, J.P. Nagar.
Bangalore - 560078.

The residents throw the garbage in a vacant sites, leading to foul smell and spread of epidemics.
When the authorities collect the tax fromt he residents of this area, why do they not provide garbage collection facilities?

Complaint — Irregular cleaning of streets

Hello Sir,

I reside in #10, 13th main, 4th block, Nandini Layout, Bangalore-96.
We are suffering from irregular garbage collection in our area.
The lady is not sweeping the road either.She absents herself for weeks together and we are left with heaps of garbage. As there are no garbage bins anymore the disposal has become a menace.
If we ask her to remove the garbage she says she has not been provided with proper tins to carry it.

Please do the needful and oblige.

Irregular cleaning of Streets

Hello Sir,

The lady is not sweeping the road, inspite she comes twice in a week & pushes all the garbage into the drinage & goes off. She absents herself for weeks together and we are left with heaps of garbage. As there are no garbage bins anymore the disposal has become a menace.

The garbage collection situation near 1st and 1st A cross in OMBR layout so pathetic. We have garbage lying around in the middle of the house and it is becoming tough to even let the kids come and play outside. Can BBMP sweepers do some work ?
I keep going to the Kasturi nagar help center complain and nobody is there is the office most times.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The garbage collectors in Nandanam Colony, Horamavu are not doing their job properly. They come in a tempo and just speed away, leaving garbage bags uncollected. For days on end, the garbage bags lie uncollected. I request BBMP to organise house-to-house collection. The garbage collectors must wait till we give them the bags.

I live in HSR Layout Sector 3, 18th Main, Bangalore. Garbage it's is everywhere, it's filthy and no one cares. Even if someone cares, they are helpless as most are unaware of the procedures to approach the concerned authority or they just simply do not have time. I tried to google for " how to request garbage clearance in bangalore"...No successful result, nothing related on bbmp homesite. Maybe it's there, but i could not easily get to it. How is it possible to make a simple request to have Garbage collected at door step for a price. what is the procedure. Is there one?

This is to bring to the notice of the Mayor Paris ad of Garbage of The Kolkata Municipal Corporation that the Road Sweeper of Biswas Para under 91 ward does not properly and regularly sweep the Roads even after request. The Vat is not properly walled for which the plastics and papers are come out drifted by wind and rain-water. The Summer and Rainy sessions are coming .But there is no man to look-over properly. You are requested to kindly take the matter under your care to restore healthy atmosphere.

We the residents of K A S Officers Layout, 35th Main 7th Cross, BTM 2nd Stage Bangalore would like to bring to your notice that the Garbage collector Nagaraj, Garbage Collection vehicle bearing no KA 51 3994 is demanding exorbitant money to collect the garbage from the houses/apartments. We understand from BBMP officials that its their duty and and to be done free of cost.

He claims not to collect the garbage if not paid to him. Please instruct us or please inform the officials to take necessary action.

We would like to know that will you be able to put the things in proper & regular routine of these services or not?

I reside at 1st cross oil mill road Saitpalaya Lingrajpuram. Here there is no system of garbage collection at all ! Or if it does happen. Happens only on the !st week of every month. This first week the collectors come only to collect some money. All the people residing here have no option but to dispose it in an empty plot on the corner opposite to the park. The stray dogs wouldn't let any person pass in the night without scaring him/her of a bite and an injection. The sweepers! they demand for their share of money every week unlike the dust collectors (Because of the frequency at which they visit our street is more).

Residents of 9-H main, 2-G cross, HRBR I Block would like to complain about street cleaning service. We have been long neglected street without proper basic services rendered to us. While the adjacent streets are cleaned daily, we are not clear why our street is neglected. The lady who does uses harsh words while we ask her anything and cannot approach her for this matter. Requesting the concerned authority to do something about this.

same problem here in JP nagar 5th phase. The lady demands to be paid 20 Rs. every month. Starts scolding if we dont. should we pay them? Aren't the government paying them their salary?
Please do something about this menace.

From [protected] BBMP is collecting garge cess @ 360 per year.Again some contractors are coming and demanding money for garbage collection.How many places we have to pay money.It is a day light robbery

No Proper Garbage collection — No Proper Garbage collection

Despite paying a Monthly Fee, there is no daily Garbage collection happening in residential layouts, we are paying a monthly fee for garbage collection but in spite of this in Bangalore, Garbage collection is happening only once in 4 days. Until then the Garbage is just rotting in our houses.
I request the BBMP to instruct Daily collection of Garbage in Residential layouts which is not at all happening.

I am residing in H.M.T. Layout, 9th cross,5th block,3rd main near Nagasandra. The garbage collectors are not coming since last 3 weeks.
The garbage is piled in the house since there are no collecting bins outside. Please do needful.

Sir,
I would like to bring to your notice that the Garbage collecting van for our layout is creating a nuisance while refusing to collect household garbage giving flimsy and irreasonable excuses. Prima facie, it seems he believes that he is empowered / qualified to classify / segregate waste. Latest being a false and wrongful excuse that ''commercial'' garbage cannot be collected by him.

The very reason I'm wish to file this complaint is because, TODAY, it has come to the extent of him shouting upon my maid across the road in another language in a verbally-abusive tone when she went to give the garbage, then the man indecently throws back the garbage in the middle of the road and arrogantly refuses to collect our household garbage. This kind of behaviour with us and women in our locality shall NOT be further tolerated.

The corporation / authorities must understand that it is highly likely that WOMEN would be disposing household garbage and brief / tell the garbage collectors to behave politely with them.

Also, I want to know, that though Solid Waste Management Cess has been collected for my property, what authorises the garbage collector to refuse to collect the minimal(whatever kind it may be) garbage that the 4 members of my family could altogether generate???
