[Resolved]  Sanyo — LCD TV

we had bought a 32"Sanyo LCD TV from Big BAAZAR Thrissur on 7thsept 2008. after buying, within 2months one set of LED board have went off.we had complained lot many times to the sales exicutive Mr.Manoj over there who have taken no interest till now.(5th Sept 2009). til 1year.
we have then complained to sanyo service centre and one man cam,e here and went.they asked to send the original bill details to Yhrissur.
now our warrenty ends on 7th. till now no action is taken.
please make some arrangements.

Yes I too face similar problem; I bought SANYO 37" at E-Zone Chennai by Feb 2009. It went out of order by end Oct. 09. The local service people have promptly visited and start changing this and that board. Finally I was asked to hand over the TV to local service centre 10 days ago. Still no solution. No body please buy this Make.
I Have The Same Problem. I bought a flat screen LCD 32" Sanyo TV one year ago from Dell Canada. The color is now already going it should be fixed by warranty but... The only certified warranty shop is not in our city, the only one in our province is two and a half hours away. They said we could ship it to them (we would be responsible for shipping which I don't believe we should have to pay after only one year) they would fix it provided the part it needs actually is covered under warranty otherwise we would have to pay for it. A one year old TV and its already garbage this is crazy. Sanyo is a company that just doesn't seem to be big on quality or service. I would never buy another Sanyo let alone recommend one to someone else. Very disappointing!

Planning to buy a new TV now
I got a 46 inch sayno tv from walmart. After the first year there were dark streaks showing.Now the left side of the screen has turned dark.I contacted sayno they would not help.I went to walmart they said sorry we can't help you. I told salesman he had more of the same tvs in the store and knew they were no good.I ased if he was going to sell them and take addvantage of someone.He just walked away from me. I looked it up on the computer and there are others haveing the same problem, and not geting help. Thanks walmart for takeing my money and giveing me junk.
We bought and paid cash for a 42 inch Sanyo HDTV LCD TV in March 2010 from Wal-Mart in Paris, TN. The manufacture's warranty has expired, now April 2011 just 1 year - 1 month later the TV is useless. We turned in on on April 24th 2011 and now we don't get picture or sound. Once on for a few seconds the power supply turns off and on by it self, still with no other results. We paid $583 plus TN tax. We called a repair shop and was told it would cost almost $300 to fix the problem. They had informed us that this brand does this shortly after warranty expires, and would more then likely do it again, and again even after the repair. Which in turn would end up costing us more then what we paid for this system. It was also said that Sanyo Company is very aware of this problem yet they do nothing to resolve this. When you see this website you will see that this is a well known problem that Sanyo TV's have. Scroll down to the bottom of this website and you will find a person whom called the Sanyo Corp. for tech support and what the tech done. Now my problem is listed with all kinds of the same complaint I am logging here today. I am also going to call the Wal-Mart Corp. office and give them the information I have and was give to see if we can get them to stop selling the Sanyo Brand until Sanyo fixes these problems with their TV's. We live on disability and can not afford another TV, unless I get the results I am seeking here today. We used settlement money to pay for this TV. We bought it cause it had a really nice picture. Now we both regret our purchase of this brand. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, am seeking full refund.
our sanyo tv, a 42 inch one, has lost the left right side of the picture...Called Sanyo today, they had me reset the tv with the remote... just turned it back on and the same thing is happening... LET'S PUT THIS ON FACEBOOK AND WARN OUR FRIENDS, FAMILIES AND AQUAINTANCES... if enough o[censored]s do this, Sanyo may do a recall of their trashy tvs... NEVER BUYING A SANYO PRODUCT AGAIN.
