[Resolved]  SBI ATM / Debit Card — ATM transaction failure : Received Rs. 500 Short

Dear Sir/Madam

I have lodged following complaint at SBI, Shakti Nagar Branch as well as sent a mail to helpline.[protected]@sbi.co.in and [protected]@sbi.co.in but nobody is paying any heed to my grievance. You are requested to kindly look into it, if possible please help me in getting my hard earned money of Rs.500/- from SBI.

I would like to inform you that I had made two transactions each of Rs.6500/- each from SBI Laxmi Nagar ATM (ATM ID - S1AN[protected] ON 18th June 2009. Unfortunately in second withdrawals I got only Rs.6000/- from ATM machine (11 notes of 500 and 5 notes of 100) but total 13000/- was debited from my account. Instead of Rs.500/- note I got a yellow paper slip (with SBI Stamp) which are usually used for covering bundles of notes. I have already made a written complaint with photo copy of transaction slip and yellow paper slip to my Branch Manager (SBI Shakti Nagar, Delhi) regarding the same. But nothing is still being done till date while I repeatedly contacted to Shakti Nagar Branch, till now this Rs.500/- have not credited in my account. So it’s my humble request to you to look forward in this matter with your great concern. Also I would like to request SBI management to look seriously in these types of human faults or Fraud so that other customers will not face this in the future. As a customer i had very much beleive in SBI but this time i am very much disappointed. So please try to solve my problem ASAP.I may be saved from mentally harassment because nobody listening me.

i would like to inform u about my problem, for what i m very much confused.sir, i did my transaction of 3000 from 7000 .the transaction was failure, then i did a transaction of 3000 and i got my money, but my balance as shown was only 1000 from 7000.sir please help me regarding this matter.

State Bank of India — My 1000 Rs from Debit card deducted because of a fault of ATM machine

I withdraw (Rs 1000) money from Yes Bank ATM on 30th March 2010 and then all transaction done (Rs 1000) but money is not came and i done the whole process once again then money came (Rs 1000) but my account was reduce by Rs 2000 so after that my pass book updated then my money is not credited in my account so what will i do? Tell me Please.
Sir, I have a SBI (DSP) account No [protected] with ATM card facility. I used second ATM for withdrawal of money from SBI ATM but ATM machine is not accepting and stating that access code. Please help for restoring my PIN code so that I can draw amount. I am farflung from the SBI where account is opened. I have already lodge such complaint but no action has yet been taken. Sir, I have a DSP account No [protected] with daul ATM card facility. It is intimated that I am unable to draw amount by using my second ATM Card No [protected] 736. On using the ATM card, the ATM machine is displaying that PIN CODE is wrong. Please take immediate step to do the needful action so that I can draw amount from ATM Machine which is urgently required. I am farflung area from SBI Office where the above account is opened/exist.

State Bank of India — Not received the Failed Transaction amount

I booked a ticket in Indian Airlines on 22.01.2010 by using online booking with my debit card in Indian Airlines website. The ticket amount Rs.5467/- was deducted twice from my account. The ticket was booked on the second transaction only. The earlier transaction the amount Rs.5467/- was wrongly deducted my account since the internet connection was disconnected at the time of booking.

I am already enquired with Indian Airlines they have informed that they refund the failed transaction amount Rs.5467/- on their account. Till now I am not received my failed transaction amount. Hence I am request you to kindly make an appropriate action.

State Bank of India — Fraud on my ATM cum debit card

I am an account holder of SBI Bank, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi since May 5, 2009. I would like to bring to all of your notice that since last few months starting September 25, 2009 I am facing lots of anomalies in my account balance.



My account status displayed numbers of purchases through my ATM cards. Out of which only four purchases has been made by me. For reference, am attaching my Pass Book details, highlighting the purchases which have not been made by me.



I have taken this problem with my bank earlier also but nothing could be sorted out. As am working for media industry taking out time for my regular chores is quite difficult. This month I faced this problem twice very frequently; one purchase has been made on 11/05/2010 and other on 16/05/2010. The amounts of purchase are Rs 1218 and Rs. 1280 according to the bank statement. The ATM card is always with me and the pin is not disclosed to anyone else.



On discussing the issue again with my bank, they came out with the solution that I can’t get the amount credited to my account but I can block the current ATM card and can apply for a new one.



On asking the details about the purchase made and from where, my bank can’t help me out with these information. I would like to know, the type of problem I am facing and if this is the stance taken by my bank in helping its customer…then who is responsible for the losses.

Dear Sir,

My name is Sikendra Singh and I am working in Calcom Cement. Lanka ASSAM Dist Nagaon, Sir there is only one ATM in Lanka and a big time it is not running approx. 3 month. There is no action at all of Lanka SBI. All SBI staff of Lanka are very too bed.

So I highly request to you please take the necessory action for the same.

PNB Debit cum ATM Card — Deduction of amount Rs.6000

I , vikas Kumar Singh ,have an SB A/C in PNB Nangloi branch.My A/c no.is [protected].On 29/06/2010 at 7:15 PM I Went to a J&K ATM situated at Sec-3 Rohini to withdraw RS 6000/- by using PNB Debit cum ATM card but it declined (unable to dispense) with an error code 102.After checking my account I found Rs 6000 has been deducted from account.I complained the whole episode to the customer care.My complaint No. is 31243523. Kindly do the needful.
