[Resolved]  SBI Bank — NRI A/C OPENING

Dear Sir,
I have SBI account in Markey Yard Sangli Branch. I have transfered this account from Pipavav. Now I am in Oman for job purpose. I would like to open NRI a/c in same branch. but they are not co operating me. When my father did the enquiry regarding same, they told first lrt him deposit 6 months salary and then they will tell further process. Actually my all friends from Maharashtra and Karnataka has opened NRI a/c in their branches with out any problem. Even they have opened the a/c within 15 min. They have same case as of me. In Pipavav(Gujrat) my a/c was salary account only for 2 yrs. now our Sangli branch staff are giving the irresponsible answers.
