[Resolved]  S. B. I — Long delay in clearing local cheque

Government need to shift this SBI also in private sector. Then can participate in strike only. Non of the employ having any responsibility of there work. We belongs from kolkata and here in our SBI branch we cant clam any thing. If we try to say any they threat us to transfer your account. This is how they treat customers. Ones this firm gets into private sector they will really get how to treat with customers.

State Bank of India — debiting an account which was not taken by me from ATM (HSBC),borivali west

My complaint no. is CC[protected] dt. 21/05/09 through email. Went personally to the branch at dahisar east and submitted the trn, slip with letter to the manager for rectification of the amount of Rs.2500/ debited from my a/c which they state is a technical error . The technical fault was for the ATM m/c of HSBC at borivili west branhc. Personally I told at their counter also. But they said they cannot do anything . The Branch manager also says that it will take a lot of time . Your hotline people say that itn will get credited soon but till today nothing has taken place. On 4th May this happened and now it is 28th May. Will I get the interest credit that was due to me for no fault of mine for the debit. Whom should I approach now. Nobody is saying innumerable phone nos. are given to me in this process but to no avail. Not a single responsible person to guide me. Except it will take a long long time for no fault of mine. is this fair. is this customer service by SBI ( who is supposed to be no. 1 in India) I do not even where my complaint is lying, in which office so that I can go personally and pursue it. Oh I think I should not disturb a Public sector organisation, as they are bound to be slow coach. Anyway I am going to take up this matter at higher level throuhg media, RTI etc.

State Bank of India — delayed payment of local cheques

I AM SOUVIK BANERJEE, A CUSTOMER OF S.B.I. I have an account to S.B.I. nabadwip 2090 branch.MY ACCOUNT NO IS-[protected]. On the date 29.04.2009 i have submitted a local cheqe for crediting to my account.This cheqe was issued by mr. PRADIP KUMAR BANERJEE who have an account to ALLAHABAD BANK, NABADWIP PORAMATALA BRANCH. but, althouth this was a local cheqe, the bank creditted it to my account on 08.06.2009.I have contacted with mr.banerjee and informed that allahabad bank debitted the amount from his account on 30.04.2009. I know that there is an instruction of R.B.I. to credit a local cheqe within maximum 15 days. so why dont i get interest for this delaying of payment???

I have saving bank a/c in state bank of india at Thiruvarur district Muthupet Branch. I am working in weizmann forex ltd., Muthupet. Our company issued salary cheque Rs.5095.00 to me. The cheque is Laxmivilas bank Muthupet branch Cheque. I was gave to Manager as on[protected]. I have dropped a HDFC Bank cheque no. 819623, Amt Rs. 11, 000/- on 07th September 2009 which was to be deposited on account no.- [protected] named- Anthony Florence D’silva (branch- Mahim), but it is not transferred till now.

I had to withdraw money for my personal use, but I could not withdraw as it was showing uncleared balance of Rs. 11, 000/- dtd 9th September 2009. Secondly, if there is any mistake in cheque or any other issue in that case, I must have been informed by the bank, when I visited the branch, but it also not done so far and there is no any kind of response from your bank clearing department till now.

Therefore I request you to please look into the matter in which I would be always thankful to you.

I have deposited a cheque of Rs 100000 in the account of Ashtavarahi Creation at SBI Borivali West Branch Mumbai on 12th October 2009 in the Main Clearing Hours. This cheque was drawn on Syndicate Bank Andheri West Branch and SBI Presented the cheque to Syndicate Bank only on 20th October 2009 and I could Withdraw money on 22nd October. May I know why there is inordinate delay for clearing the cheques by SBI. Now also I am told if I am depositing any cheque wtih SBI I should consider it will take at least 10 days by Branch Manager. Why management is not doing anything and merly watching it. Such delay is spoiling the name of the Biggest Bank of the Nation. It is very shameless for not taking any action when other banks cheques are cleared just within 2 or 3 days depending on the location of the bank.

i have dropped RBI chequeDraft no 329192 of Rs 162848.00 of my current A/C no [protected] Siemen industries in my home branch Raja Garden New Delhi on[protected] & my cheque is
still uncleared no body gives reson for this & my branch maneger doesnt gives me any information abaut this delay so clear my cheque as soon as possible

You can claim interest of 3.9% per annum for the cheque's amount to be credited. Contact your bank (in which you deposited the cheque).

its a avery good compony, going on very wel.all payments are giving in time.akash-[protected].

yes this sbi guys are ridiculous about these cheque clearing process. there should be two time check on there cheque drop box as they have heavy traffic of customer. then only this process will get faster.
kindly take some action so that sbi really work on this process.

SBI is the biggest bank in India and they have huge assets and they donot care for any consumer even if you have largest individual consumer deposit. The staff are pretty old dogs and their banking process is extremely cumbersome morethan all, their banking software is one of Tata consultancy services (TCS) product, so just imagine what kind of quality you can expect. "Better bank else where" should be SBI's logo but unfortunately Government of India backs SBI, so nothing could be done.

my check is not clear yet. i deposite a check in sbi on 3 'feb .

my check was not cleared (drooped date 6-6-15... today is 12-6-15) y sbi is tkng that much delay to clear cheques... private banks are tkng just hours to clear... problem with gvt emplys lazy_carelessness... this disease should be avoided from all gvt emplys includng sbi...

I have dropped a CBI (Central bank of India, Darbhanga, IFSC CBIN0281302) cheque no. 004994, dated:24/12/2017; Amt Rs. 30, 600/- on 27th Feb' 2017 in SBI branch:NEW Market(03477 ) Patna.
which was to be deposited on account no.[protected] named- Manoj Kumar Singh (branch- Aurangabad, bihar, IFSC SBIN0000013), but it is not transferred till now.

There is no any kind of response from your bank clearing department till now.

Therefore I request you to please look into the matter in which I would be always thankful to you.
